The cabins are on stunningly well manicured beautiful grounds teeming with wildlife and birds. Numerous hot spring pools for relaxing in. Family run, the food is amazing and inexpensive and the family goes out of their way to please. Wonderful place to stay. We highly recommend. Carol and Larry

We enjoyed three nights here and found the property and the family who run it to be very charming. Our cabin was comfortable and well maintained, and the numerous hot springs on site were a real hit with the kids and adults in our group. The breakfast and dinners in the restaurant were all excellent. Overall, it is a real gem and we would definitely return if in the area. During our stay we visited the Las Hornillas volcano centre (highly recommended), Las Pumas jaguar reserve and Llana de Cortes waterfall.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel tenu par une famille très sympathique. Nous avons dormi dans une petite cabane confortable dans un environnement magnifique: face au volcan Miravalles, l'hôtel dispose de 6 bassins alimentés par les sources chaudes dans lesquels il est très agréable de se prélasser ! Nous avons aussi bien mangé (cuisine locale). Je recommande !

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The property is well manicured, the views are superb and the hot spring pools are incredible and meticulously clean. Our cabin was wonderful with all amenities is excellent order. The food is excellent, traditional Costa Rican cuisine and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

My family stayed at Colinas for three nights. We loved how peaceful it is, how friendly and helpful our hosts were, and the hot springs right on the property. The family had great recommendations for things to do, including touring a chocolate farm and activities such as waterfalls and high bridges on the side of a volcano. The food was excellent. The major drawback is the lack of varied activities in the zone.

Accueil familial des plus chaleureux! Site exceptionnel. Abordable. Cuisine typiquement Costaricienne et généreuse fait avec produits locaux. Nous y retournerons. Merci à Carlos et toute sa famille:))

This family run hotel was very personable and well run. The property is unique with its thermal baths, well laid out and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent. Carlos and his family went out of their way to help us out in our tour planning. The rooms had great air conditioning and wifi connection. We loved it here! Pura Vida

Fantastic place to stay for a couple of nights and they even have hot spring pools on the property. We stayed in cabin 1 which had it's own lovely spring located right behind it. It's a family run business with nice personal attention. They offer complimentary breakfast each morning (delicious!) & we even had dinner there one night as well (also delicious and very reasonably priced). They were also great with recommendations of what to do/see in the area.. we went ziplining and then visited a local sloth sanctuary.

Beautiful place !!! Best view of the Miravalles Volcano. Great employees. All the pools are perfect. Little cabana is so nice to relaxing. Good food, good drinks. I recommend this hotel for sure !

Danke an Emily für den tollen Service schon vorab. Die einzige Lodge die vorab gefragt hat, was wir machen möchten und uns Tip und Empfehlungen gab. Das war super. Das Hotel ist wunderschön. Die ganze Familie ist vor Ort. Die Bungalows hübsch, gross und mit allem wichtige ausgestattet inkl. WLAN und TV. Auf der Rückseite gibt es einen Heisswasser-Pool. Göttlich wenn es vorher den Tag über geregnet hat. Auf dem gesamten Areal sind dann weitere Pools angelegt. Alles warm aus der Erde. Grossartig. Wir sind vor dort zum Rincon dela Viejo gefahren (ca.45 Minuten). Bis in das Zentrum der Stadt sind es 3 Minuten mit dem Auto. Dort gibt es Supermarkt, Bäcker, Restaurants. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten. Wir hatten 2 Übernachtungen und wollten von dort an den Rio Celeste (wegen Regen allerdings umgeplant). Die gesamte Familie ist supernett. Bitte erhaltet dieses wunderschöne Fleckchen Erde. Grossartig

UN lugar precioso y tranquilo con varias 6 piscinas de aguas termales lprocedentes del volcan miravallles, atendido por la familia propietaria del mismo , personas muy finas y atentas.

Es un lugar ideal para relajarse. Son pocas cabañas en un lugar increíble con vista directa al volcán MIravalles. Los jardines están muy bien cuidados y tienen varias piletas de agua termal con distintas temperaturas muy recomendables. El servicio es excelente. La familia que maneja el hotel es muy amable y siempre están dispuestos a ayudar. Tanto el desayuno como la cena eran riquísimos. Muy recomendable !!

I absolutely loved staying here! You get your own little private cabin. The scenery is breath taking. Minutes away from the Miravalles volcano. You can actually see the Miravalles volcano from the restaurant located on the hotel grounds. The owners can transport you to several tours offered in the area at a small costs. They restaurant is also open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the guests.

This zone is very amazing, you can have fun with a lot of activities. Volcano climb, hot thermal, horse ride and more. Really cool

Great hotel. Not sure if the description of the hotel accurately described the hot springs that are available to the guests. These are exterior concrete-sided soaking pools that are fed through pipes from underground hot springs not too far away. Great way to relax at the end of a long day of hiking. Explore the park and climb to the top of the volcano. The only real problem here was the internet, which was not that reliable. The manager explained that it was due to a hurricane last year that affected their internet systems. Nice cabin. Appreciated the overhead reading lights.

Das Hotel und die ganze Anlage ist top gepflegt. Es gibt nur wenige Villen und wenige Hotelgäste, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Die Zimmer in den Villen sind riesengross, mit Kühlschrank, TV und blitzsauber. Wir haben kein Staubkörnchen gefunden, da wird überall geputzt auch unter dem Bett etc! Fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Die Besitzerin und die Tochter (die beiden, die wir während unseres Aufenthaltes antrafen) waren beide sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Eine familiäre Atmosphäre mit doch genügend Privatsphäre! Essen im dazugehörigen Restaurant ist tadellos und sehr sehr preiswert! Die Hotspring und Gartenanlage ist ein riesen grosses Plus. Einziges Manko ist die schlechte W-Lan Verbindung im Zimmer. Aber ansonsten ist der Aufenthalt auf jedenfall sein Geld wert. Auch für Familien geeignet, es hat genügend Fläche und Spielgeräte an denen sich die Kinder austoben können. Wir sind jedoch als Paar gereist und hatten unsere Ruhe und es sehr sehr genossen.
