We had a 3 night stay, and overall it was very good. The house keeping staff were amazing, the restaurant staff however did not welcome guests or give the impression that they wanted to be there. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. The building and surroundings are beautiful.

La Fortunaの街の入り口付近にある、広い敷地のロッジ風のホテル。コーヒー・紅茶セットあり。
街の入り口にあるため、カーニョ・ネグロのツアーに参加すると、ピックアップが一番最後になるのでバスのいい席が取れないこともある。

Basic, well managed property, clean and away from the noise of the main avenue. It has a nice nature walk in the back which was a plus. The restaurant could be better, in fact I noticed this everywhere I stayed and ate in CR, a major disappointment as far as the cuisine. I get better CR food in Queens NY.

We enjoyed our stay at Monte Real. It was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere to return to after a day of adventure. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of the restaurant, beside the river that runs behind the property. Staff were very friendly and professional. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in La Fortuna at a reasonable price.

The hotel was centrally located a few blocks from the main square. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly and helped getting me a last minute night tour.
The breakfast was delicious with good vegetarian options and had a nice outdoor seating area overlooking a stream.
We liked chatting in our poco Spanish with our waitress Rachel :)
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again !

Pleasant check in. The included breakfast was good. There were a few ants in the room that dissipated after the first day. The little park and stream at the back of the property was peaceful and we were able to see the sloth in one of the trees. Beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure.
