Nice little family-owned spot. A true 4-minute walk to the beach. Very basic rooms but well cared for. Pros: - Proximity to the beach and the main strip - Family-owned - Large pool - Good, hearty breakfast - Drying rack for each room (nice touch when you have wet clothes all the time) Cons: - Millipedes in the room (probably unavoidable in the tropics, but it detracted from our enjoyment to have to kill 3-4 a day) - Outlets did not all work (fine for us, as we had enough for what we needed) - Linens were generally clean but low quality — towels flaked/pilled off on our skin Overall, great low-budget option if all you need is a clean place to sleep at the end of the day

Very friendly place, nice pool, good breakfast.

Stayed 3 nights. Could not enjoy the pool as it was dirty and no explanation was provided. Most plugs in the room were not functional, mentioned it to owner on first night and at breakfast time the next morning and received a short extension cord in our last night. For a family run business, did not find it friendly and facility needs tender loving care which it seems owners don’t seem interested in investing to fix things up. Highlight is its location … close walk to the beach… don’t expect quick resolution to problems.

The owner and staff made this the most chill stay we had in CR. The rooms were clean and quiet. The pool was clean and very relaxed. The breakfast was superb. The walk to the beach is about 3 minutes. We extended our stay because it was the situation was perfect.

I think this hotel has a lot to offer: great location with free on-site parking included, good complementary breakfast, nice pool and well maintained grounds. The owner/caretaker is extremely nice and friendly. However, my stay was marred by internet connectivity issues, sewer stench in my room, and berries/nuts falling all night long on the metal roof preventing me from sleeping. I think I just got the worst room because all other guests seemed happy with their accommodations.
