Wonderful stay. Beachfront room was amazing. Property was secure, clean and great location. Light breakfast delivery to room so you could eat breakfast looking at the ocean was top notch! Pool was great as well!

I had a severe accident off the property and the staff couldn’t been nice n helpful Paradise despite the accident Highly recommend

Nice beach access, rooms are clean but nothing fancy. No food on site so breakfast is brought to your room via like fruit, some toast and yogurt so if you aren't a breakfast buffet person it is nice. Older small style but the location is amazing. I would stay again.

In the heart of touristy Tamarindo , Coast Hotel offers a spot or solace. With direct access to beach it was a great place for a family with young children. Hotel does not have in house dining but breakfast is served to the room and there are plenty other options close by. Whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway or like the tourist vibes , this hotel is a perfect choice.

This is a delightful boutique hotel with rooms equipped with a standard fridge, microwave, stove burners. It includes all dining accouterments including pots and pans. Breakfast is delivered to your door with selections of your choice. The fresh fruit was delicious. There is an amazing restaurant across the street,Sofia’s, and you can also walk down the beach to food trucks. The beach is a surfer’s paradise and there is a surf school next door and the hotel rents surf boards at a reasonable price. Totally enjoyable, friendly people and we enjoyed it. Would go back!

We had a unit facing the beach and it was nice. Very nice and helpful staff.

Clean room and a small Kitchenette with everything we needed. The staff were all wonderful especially Deigan at the reception desk. Great sense of humour and big smile! The security guards were so helpful with moving beach chairs and cushions for us. The proximity to town is perfect. Far enough away from the noise but only a 7 minute walk. It’s not luxury by any means but is a very functional safe and cozy spot for a reasonable price!

Excellent location and great reception staff

Best kept secret if you are looking for a laid back vibe right on the beach w/o the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo beach. Entire staff from housekeeping to the grounds crew were fabulous. Our continental breakfast came fresh and on time everyday and our rooms were attended to with great care. Accessible to beachside restaurants and a cool Starbucks made our early morning strolls very enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at The Coast Hotel. The staff were honestly some of the best I’ve ever experienced at any resort — incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They made the entire trip feel effortless and welcoming. The beach was absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing or taking a walk. The location is also great — just a quick ten-minute walk into town, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. Overall, The Coast Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and safe holiday.

Fab staff and ultra clean room! Super location with easy walks to restaurants via the main road or the beach! Bonus was an-across the street resto called Sofia which gave 10% deduction to a past Hotel guests and @Sofia was magnificent!! Thanks for a lovely stay!

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my stay here. My room was much larger than expected and very clean. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and as a solo traveler, this made me feel safe. My room was right outside the pool and I loved having the flexibility to sit at the pool or the beach which is only a few steps away! I appreciated that the staff happily carried a beach chair for me to sit directly on the beach as opposed to the shady private area for hotel guests. I loved waking up every morning to complimentary breakfast delivered to my door. I do wish there were more options on the menu but was very appreciative that this was provided. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay!

This was our second year at the Coast. Beautiful, clean facility, great staff, perfect location. We’ll definitely be back!
