Perfect stay.. great hospitality. Location is perfect, you can walk to the ferry.

It was abit out of the way and google maps isn’t aware of the place (yet). Just stuck a pin down on google maps where hotels.com said it was and we navigated there just fine. The host was brilliant and made us feel welcome. Explained to us how best to experience the national park and went and got us entrance to tickets before we’d even woke up as they don’t sell on the gate. His tips were valuable as we beat the crowds and did a 9 mile walk. Room was comfy, clean, had a fridge and a nice shower and had onsite parking. The only ‘problem’ is the lack of catering facilities. Breakfast was simple continental affair which although was limited, could have as much a as you’d like. They didnt do dinner onsite, but a couple min walk down the road was a bigger hotel with a restaurants. Good food, good service but a bit overpriced. Can’t be helped as it is a national park and convenient. Few other places to eat but they’d require a 5-15 min drive which we didn’t want to do. Stayed 2 nights, what an epic national park and lakes!

Advices and recommendations on the park trip was very good and everyone was very kind. The guesthouse provided rides from /to the bus stop which was very helpful, but might have been more helpful for future guests if those information is provided at booking. Rooms were very clean as well. We wish we could stay longer :)
