部屋はとても清潔でした。 海が正面に見える部屋でとても眺望が良かったです。 リゾート感もあり満足できました。 バスタブがあったのですが、栓をするものが欠損しており、バスタブが使用できなかったです。 ホテルの駐車場が小さく、一般客は利用できない？　用で、近くのパーキングまでボーイさんが預けに行ってくれました。　ただ、１日につき170KN　がかかるので、駐車場代金は無料ではありません。

Nettes, sehr ruhiges Hotel direkt an der Strandpromenade. Sehr gutes und vielseitiges Frühstück. Zimmer mehrseitig mit Balkon sind sehr schön.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Room was delightful and comfortable. Service was impeccable. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

Property is in an excellent location right on the water. Walking to explore is very easy to do. Property is beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Vilket underbart hotell! Från det ögonblick vi kom till vi checkade ut var det helt enastående! Personalen var otroligt trevliga, rummet fantastiskt med strålande utsikt över Kvarnerbukten, sängen var så skön och frukosten lämnade ingenting att önska. Härligt att sola och bada vid den egna stranden med gratis solstolar. Dessutom var hela hotellet vackert som en dröm. Det enda lite jobbiga var alla duvor vid frukosten men det avhjälps ju om man äter inomhus. Vi längtar redan tillbaka!

Hotel Kvarner is a wonderful historical property. The staff was excellent and they were very caring and attentive to our needs. Just a few words of caution - parking is a little difficult (everywhere in Opatija), lots of stairs in the hotel entrance and to the pool and sunning platform, and the rooms have "high" bathtubs / showers. We managed through those items. The view from our sea side room was spectacular and the included breakfast was a real treat - probably the best in Opatija!!

Wir waren am Wochenende mit drei Generationen (Oma, Mutter, mein Freund und ich) in diesem Hotel und sind rundum begeistert. Schon lange wollten wir beim Vorbeigehen wissen, wie es wohl innen aussieht – und unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und gepflegt, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet und vielfältig und besonders hervorheben möchten wir das super freundliche Personal. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

The hotel premises and rooms were very impressive. We enjoyed the beach and the pool and the breakfast (although they should figure out a way to keep the pigeons away from the breakfast). However, parking was a big negative - your website says "parking available," but when we arrived we were told there was no room and sent to a nearby garage. I was told how to get to the garage but not how to get out of it, and ended up going down a dead-end street that caused great difficulty in turning around. On top of which the garage charged me 77 euros (cash only) for two days. Worse, when I asked the hotel if they could get us parking our last night, so we could check out easily, I was told Yes, but when we arrived back from dinner later that night the person on duty had no knowledge of that and insisted that no parking was available. Very badly handled all around.

Insgesamt war ich sehr zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt. Die Anreise war allerdings etwas holprig: Die Parksituation ist schwierig (25 €/Tag, zu wenige Plätze) und beim Check-in wirkte das Team zunächst überfordert, was unfreundlich rüberkam. Da ich ein Handicap habe, war das Parken für mich besonders mühsam. Schließlich hat sich ein Mitarbeiter für die Unannehmlichkeiten entschuldigt und mein Auto geparkt. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber, gut ausgestattet (Safe, TV, Spiegel, Schrank, Slipper, Bademäntel, Pflegeprodukte) und das Bett sehr bequem. Housekeeping war freundlich. Kritikpunkt: Badewanne statt Dusche – unpraktisch und rutschig, weil man unweigerlich das Badezimmer flutet. Die Lage ist perfekt: direkt an der Promenade, ruhig trotz Nähe zu Lokalen. Am Pool und Strand gibt es immer freie Liegen (besetzte Liegen werden freigeräumt, inkl. Handtücher), alles sauber und mit Service. Getränke und Snacks lassen sich auch an den Strand mitnehmen. Frühstück ist top: Buffet plus unbegrenzte à-la-carte-Gerichte, sehr lecker und mit freundlichem Service. Nervig sind nur die Tauben auf der Terrasse (das Hotel kann aber nichts dafür), drinnen sitzen geht aber. Abendessen ist schwach, vor allem für Vegetarier*innen (quasi keine Auswahl). Dafür sind Snacks und Cocktails tagsüber sehr gut und preislich fair. Fazit: Sehr schönes Hotel, super Lage, toller Service. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt bleibt die Parksituation – wie in vielen Hotels in Opatija. Ich komme gerne wieder!

A very disappointing experience. While the building is nice, the service at the spa is nice, but the rest of the experience certainly doesn’t match a 4* hotel ! First : you arrive, at the “parking” : they let you in, but although there are empty spots, they claim the park is full so you have to get out and go to “a very useful garage next to it”… they didn’t even let us check in : we had to get out of the parking first… welcome !!! They also didn’t tell us that this useful parking was twice as expensive as their claimed parking spots on the hotel site : 48€ a day instead of claimed 25. Then : let’s be clear : Superior room means “basic room”, and if you don’t pay for sea view, be honest and don’t say “city view” but parking view : you know : the one we didn’t get a place in…..!! When you’re really lucky : you get the 101 room : for disabled people… and if you’re not disabled before, you really risk being it after : the bathroom is so dangerous : the showerhead hanging in corner, no separation (even a curtain) : you spray water everywhere, and having to make 3 meters on such a slippery floor….amazing… the sink is broken and the mirror has no light : the only light bulb is over the towels, 3m behind you !! And finally if you want to go to the toilet, be prepared : we had to ask 3 times over 2 hours time to have some toilet paper… And finally, you know the parking lot ? It is also the delivery place, at morning, when trucks arrive… Visit this hotel, but stay somewhere else!

The Best place to be in Opatja !

Alte Fenster und es wird wenig geboten. Personal war oft nicht der klasse entsprechend. Am ersten Tag wusste ich nicht, dass es eine Frühstückskarte gibt.
