We didn’t expect to carry heavy suitcases walked up so many stairs to the property.

Property was Well equipped, spacious , very clean on arrival and awesome views

The apartment is okay but electricity power was suspended frequently

It is not a hotel but is an apartment. So make sure you reach out to the Luke (Owner) before you reach. Luke is an excellent person, very friendly and is of great help. Feel free to ask him question. - There is a Washer/Dryer there. Unfortunately, there were no instructions so we couldn't use it. - The house/apartment has most basic things like cups/plates/mugs etc. - It is a little farther away than the old town but is very close to the harbor.

Well presented and spacious and comfortable accommodation only let down by: • seater in living room falling apart • kettle, microwave and toaster need moving to a socket before they can be used, on the sink? That aside we had a great week in an amazing city, so ate out and only went back to sleep for which the air-con was essential.

Super fint ophold. SKØN lejlighed med dejlig stor altan. Den ligger højt oppe ca. 5 min. fra havnen som er et meget dejligt sted at gå tur.. vær dog opmærksom på at det tager ca. en halv time og gå til stranden, men det er en smuk gåtur forbi den skønne havn. Der går også busser til stranden. Vi boede i lejligheden i en uge og havde en fantastisk go' ferie.

We walked from the port to this apartment on a very hot day. When we got there, we were told by the cleaner that this was not the apartment. It was for Polish people apparently. She rang the manager who came about 15 minutes later and said Hotels.com was at fault as they had not taken the apartment off their listing as he requested. He offered a full refund but said first he would take us to some other apartment in case we wanted that. He drove way past the old town, closer to the airport, where there was nothing for us to see or do without having to get transport back into the main part of Dubrovnik. At this point we refused and requested a refund. We wasted four hours before finally finding something. We are NOT impressed with Hotels.com or owner, depending on who is at fault here.

We arrived really late after midnight, but the lady in charge made us feel right at home and provided us with useful information for our trip. The apartment was very spacious with two separate rooms, and the kitchen was fully equipped. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away and we were able to have a quiet night in. Overall, the apartment was super nice and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a car.

Sijainti jyrkän mäen rinteessä, kiipeämistä rannasta 200 m ja lisäksi jyrkät portaat. Ei sovi liikuntaesteisille eikä vanhemmille, joilla on pieniä lapsia. Vastaanottoa ei ole, joten saavuttaessa on soitettava apartamentoksen antamaan puhelinnumeroon, jolloin avain tuodaan. Kylpyhuoneen ja WC:n vesikalusteet olivat hankalat kaksiotesekoittimet. Kuumavesihana kuumeni niin paljon, ettei sormin tohtinut koskea. Näköala on vastakkaisten talojen seinät, vaikka talojen välistä meri vähän pilkotti.

My friend and I recently stayed there for two nights and it was a very comfortable apartment. The two rooms were perfect for us and the two bathrooms was a bonus that you won't find in a hotel. The apartment is modern and very clean and comfortable.

Rooms were both very clean and having two full bathrooms was quite a bonus. Huge deck to sit out on at night and lots of corner markets to get essentials from close by. Has it's own parking which is a bonus, and about a 20-25 min walk to old town. Very quiet at night and we would stay again as it was good value for the stay.

Villa Rosa was a great place. There were 3 of us so the 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms made for a quick exit each morning. Check in was a little eventful as we were not aware we needed to call to have someone meet us and let us in. There are quite a few stairs to get to it so it may not be the place for everyone. It was perfect for us though. 10 minute walk to the main bus terminal, restaurants were at the base of the stairs and located right on the bus route to get to Pile. Only a 5 minute bus ride to city center but just far enough away where all the restaurants weren't over-crowded.

Villa Rosa is not really a hotel; it is an apartment. I believe there is more than one of them. Anyway, we were very pleased with the apartment. It is large, the bedrooms are comfortable. It was very, very clean. The apartment has large terraces off the LR, DR and bedroom, which serve to make the unit seem even larger. It is located maybe a mile north of the old city of Dubrovnik, actually very near the cruise ship port, Porto Gruz. Based on another traveler's recommendation, we arranged car pick up by Luke, the owner, after booking the hotel. He was waiting for us as we exited in DBV and took us right to the apt. He is very knowledgable about the area and just a super nice guy, so we actually hired him to take us somewhere else the next day. It is a short walk, maybe 5 minutes tops, down the hill toward the port where there is a taxi stand and bus station. The fare to the old city seemed to vary so I would recommend some negotiation. 60 KN is a fair price. Once you know where the apt is located it is very easy to direct cab drivers right to the place when you want to come back. We were only there one night as we left the next day to sail for a week, thus we did not use the kitchen, although I checked it out and it is fully outfitted. WiFi in apt works very well. There are several restaurants down on the main road; we had breakfast at Bon Appetit and the omelette, salads, croissants and coffees were very good.
