Booked this hotel due to having the most amenities which it did and was clean. We're not very demanding travelers but had some struggles with the hotel remembering to clean the room, the front desk forgetting to mention that our late bags were delivered by the airport and when we arrived a day late the hotel automatically canceled the first day and booked us an extra day at the end thay we couldn't use. This extra day was at a much higher rate and they took this money out of our deposit so we had no recourse from being robbed by the hotel. Definitely buyer beware.

What a terrific stay at Avila. From the moment we arrived we had martini’s and we stayed at the Blues room on the water that was awesome. The restaurants were amazing with entertainment most nights. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this hotel and we’ve been to many islands and can’t wait to return.

Sandy clean beach and calm water were just great. Facilities are clean, room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff is helpful and friendly. Very satisfied in overall.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place is spectacular. They make everything easy and enjoyable! From the beachfront restaurant (The Pen) to the on site snorkeling, every feature is well appointed. Beach chairs were always available, the resort never felt crowded in spite of it being full. We would return in a heartbeat!

Clean room, lovely building, friendly staff, good snorkeling, good location close to restaurants and to the town. Very safe and comfortable.

Zeer tevreden. Onze kamer behoorde tot de eenvoudigere kamers van het resort. De netheid en voorzieningen vonden wij voldoende. Door de geweldige weeromstandigheden is een lang verblijf op de kamer toch niet onze wens

A very well maintained property with extremely attentive staff, lovely rooms, great dining and gorgeous beaches.

Boa variedade no café da manhã com 4 opções de frutas, variedade de pães, croissant, bolo, cereais, sucos naturais e ilha de omelete, preço 26 dólares por pessoa. Quarto extremamente limpo, todo dia quando chegávamos estava cheiroso e muito arrumado. O hotel tem duas praias lindíssimas e 2 restaurantes com comidas muito boas. Equipe da recepção com excelente atendimento. Tivemos upgrade de quarto do Preferred para o Deluxe e foi sensacional! Com certeza voltaria a me hospedar aqui!

Great location, friendly staff and nice pool/private beach area.

In my opinion best resort in Curacao. Quiet, clean, nice quality in all aspects. Well located as you can walk to downtown. The beach is amazing and never over crowded

Nice hotel. Stayed for 4 nights. Good customer service. Dinner at Blue was good. Quality and diversity of breakfast foods was very good. Gym is well equipped but also highly subscribed. Not enough room for floor exercise. Swim beach is calm due to the use of harbor rocks. All the best beaches are 45 to 60 minute drive. But, I didn’t see any hotels in that area that would rival the Avila. Moreover, there are very nice restaurants and bars in walking distance from the Avila. If you like natural beauty, the national park on the ocean is worth a visit.

Stayed for 10 days, staff were excellent and helpful. Did not partake of the breakfast so can’t review. Walked to downtown nearly daily and there are lots of restaurants in the area.

The stay was nearly perfect! We had such a wonderful time.

The staff were amazing as well as the hotel location, its amenities, the renovated rooms, the restaurants and, above all, the beautiful beach!
