Staffs are generally helpful and the room is very clean. Two points to note: 1. You may feel a bit noisy depending on your room location because of bars and restaurants outside the hotel. 2. Reception is relatively slow, because of the number of staffs.

It’s good time when I stayed there.

The Town hall bells ring from 8.am untill 24 pm. They tell the time each 15 minutes, so that is something one must be aware when bookin this hotel.

”Presidential Suite” gives you expectations, right? Worn, run down, smells a bit from the bathroom, dented details, cables cut off and left, shower not functioning properly… But sure, it had beds for the 3 of us….

We arrived in the morning and even though it was well before check in, they did have a room available which was fabulous. We were 2 adults with a teenager and stayed in a suite. The suite was adequate for our needs. Bedroom with very large bed and room with a bed settee. Bathroom was spacious with separate shower as well as a bath with shower over. Each room had window seats which were lovely to watch the square below. The temperature is centrally controlled and we found the rooms too hot, especially at night. We arrived on a Saturday. I’m not sure if this happens every Saturday night but there was loud music and dancing in the square until the early hours. Unfortunately this did disrupt our sleep as we needed the windows open as it was so hot. It’s also worth noting that the city hall clock chimes until midnight. Breakfast was good. Plenty of fruit juices to choose from. Waffle station, plus hot and cold options. Our only complaint is that they didn’t have English breakfast tea. Location of the hotel is superb. A few minute walk from central station and most attractions are virtually on your doorstep. I would definitely stay here again

Perfekt lokalisasjon av Hotellet. Rett ved T-banestasjon, Tivoliet og Strøket med shopping og restauranter. Gå-avstand til det meste. Fine rom med stort bad og stille aircondition. Bra frokost, men veldig dyr for en familie på 4 voksne så vi spise der bare 1 morgen.

Sijainti oli parasta, keskustassa lähellä ostoskatua ja lähellä metroasemaa, josta pääsi kätevästi lentokentälle. Myös Nyhavn oli kävelymatkan päässä. Aamiainen oli hyvä, huone hiljainen. Hotellin kokolattiamatot käytävillä ja huoneissa pitäisi vaihtaa uusiin, loivat suttuisan ja kulahtaneen vaikutelman.

Good stay

The welcoming experience was very negative — there were no smiles and the responses to our questions were unfriendly. The room was extremely old and not clean, and the bathroom was the same. Breakfast was very basic; for example, you couldn’t even get an omelet made. The location is decent, but due to a nearby church, the rooms are very noisy. Our room did not have a phone to call reception or room service, no slippers, or even complimentary water, There was no Nespresso machine either, nothing was positive. I have never stayed at a hotel that was so lacking in customer focus. We only chose this hotel because we wanted to stay close to the main street as a family with a child, but apart from the location, I honestly cannot say anything positive about the hotel. I’m shocked that it has received an 8-point rating — in my opinion, it is very misleading.

A great hotel though the noise from rooms next door and above were quite noticeable but could be down to thin insulation. It was only the last night this was particularly noticeable from the 3 nights I spent there. Also I don’t agree with being told by the staff that you have to pay for leaving your luggage on check out date. (I joined the Scandic loyalty scheme which is free and means you can leave your luggage for free but this isn’t advertised).

Fantastic hotel! The breakfast was wonderful with tons of options. The hotel is across the street from the metro station with the same name that the hotel is on. Central station is a five minute walk, which is great for catching trains to other cities. The staff was helpful and there were maps at the front desk which made getting around the city easy.

Daha iyi lokasyon olamazdı. Merkez tren istasyonundan 10 dakika yürüme mesafesinde, neredeyse diğer tüm turistik cazibe noktaları yürüyerek ulaşılabilir noktada. Otel biraz eski, bir renovasyon ile mükemmel hale gelir. Kahvaltı yeter düzeyde idi. Junior süit odada konakladık, odada daha önce konaklayanlardan kalan küçük temizlik sorunları vardı (mesela kanepe yastığının arkasından çıkan kullanılmış tahta çatal ve kırıntılar gibi) ihtiyaçlarımızı karşılayacak donanım vardı. Donatı ile ilgili küçük bir eksiklik bir kapsül kahve makinesi ve birkaç kapsül kahve vardı ancak bardak yoktu, bir şekilde hallettik.

Dårlig renhold. Rommene ble ikke rengjort hvis vi ikke meld fra, noe vi ikke ikke fikk beskjed om. Lang tid for innsjekking. Lite bemanning i resepsjonen. Frokost var bra

Hotellet er gammelt og det merkes. Sengene er harde. Dusjen var håpløs med veldig varierende temperatur og trykk. Vasken på badet var så og si tett. AC på rommet fungerte ikke. De som sto i resepsjonen var super hyggelige.

Great hotel, walking distance to everything, shops, bars, Resturant, city center. I dd not need a car or metro, just waked the hole downtown from there.
