What a great place for the price. It is a ways from the resorts and downtown Punta Cana but not hard to get a taxi at all. If you want a taste of the local lifestyle this is definitely the place you should stay. Less than 5 mins to Ole supermarket (which is kind of a Walmart) with a fully equipped kitchen. Even if I was going resorting I would stay for a couple days here just to understand how middle class Dominicans are living. Don't let the people who only stay at resorts tell you how 'dangerous' it is. That is nonsense. Go here, have an open mind and cook some good meals for yourself. The manager Raquel is the best!

Expedia should seriously stop selling this place. Calling it a “hotel” is generous… let’s say aspirational. The room smelled like it had lived several lives before me. The AC technically existed, but emotionally it had given up.
The bathroom was an adventure I didn’t sign up for, the furniture looked like it survived a minor war, and the kitchen was more of a decorative suggestion than something a human could actually use.
I lasted exactly one night, and that felt heroic. This is not a hotel—this is a life lesson.

They did not allow us to check in. The woman who was the receptionist was sleeping then rudely harassed us for our passports or cash to hold overnight. This was purely insane and I struggled with sleeping kids

We were only there for an overnight stay and needed a place to sleep and wasn't expecting much, but the pool wasn't clean, there was no airport shuttle. Plus, if you took the room key out of the holder by the door, it would turn the power off, including the air conditioner in the bedroom. But, for the price, it was ok for 1 night. We won't go back to that hotel.

Ocorreu tudo bem em nossa estadia. Local sempre limpo, o apartamento tinha utensílios domésticos essências para cozinhar. Apenas um detalhe no anúncio o mesmo relata que tem academia, mas ao chegar lá o ambiente não possui mais. No resto a acomodação não deixou a desejar.

O apto é excelente, grande e confortável, com ar condicionado nos quartos, camas confortáveis, banheiros adequados e na cozinha tinha geladeira, fogão, microondas e utensílios, tudo muito bom, só tenho a salientar que a lavanderia estava entupida e a água saia por baixo do tanque e ia até a cozinha, nada que uma pequena manutenção não resolva. Perto de mercado e lugares para comer.
