A group of 7 women and we stayed in condo penthouse #9 of Flor Del Mar in the Los Corales Village! Fabulous six bedroom penthouse, four bath with the top terrace and open view. It was clean, chic and spacious! This condo is perfect for large groups and very secure! It is gated with nightly security. Rosa our host was the best! Very accommodating and always accessible. She speaks great English too so communication was excellent. Breakfast is included and it's not your typical continental or buffet. Fresh and delicious! Even the staff there was amazing! The beach is literally steps away and you have access to beach loungers and straw huts. You also have access to a private pool as well! The location is close to everything by car or walking distance. So if you're looking for a super affordable option that still gives you an all inclusive resort feeling - this is it!! We will definitely be back! Mucho Gracias Rosa!

Very good experience. One room's shower head was not working very well. Should check that one, otherwise everything was great. Thank you.

Close to the beach and to restaurants and stores.

Great place had everything we needed in an apartment for a productive stay . Rosa was great at front desk . Beach could be better but overall peaceful. Be aware they charge an electricity fee upon arrival , didn’t know that until we checked in . Overall a nice place in front of beach and gated and close to shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere no need to uber / taxi unless excursions .

Die Duschen in beiden Badezimmern waren verdreckt, Klospülung war defekt, dreckige Küche und eine Kakerlake gesichtet. Gebucht war ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, aber das Meer hat man definitiv nicht gesehen. Die Betten und Zimmer an sich waren ok.

Overall, the stay was wonderful. Our apartment (2 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen was close to the beach (abt 50 mtrs). The area is very safe, walkable, nearby supermarket, plenty of restaurants. The apartment was neat, perhaps newly constructed. The window in one of the bathrooms had transparent glass and we covered it with towel. We reported to the property, hopefully they will fix it. There is an ATM closeby where I used my US bank card, but use it only in the extreme cases. Best is to carry enough USD and convert to Pesos with local exchanges (some of them are like regular shops) where you get a better exchange rate. USD is accepted everywhere, so not a problem. The flip side is that their communication is very poor...they give you a whatsapp number, but very slow response. They dont have an iron box, so make sure to ask them at the reception (we didnt, and it took them 2 days to get it to us) or carry one. I have asked them to include it in every apartment, as no one plans to carry it with them. Make sure to ask on the timing of the apartment cleaning.

So comfortable place for us, on the ocean beach

There were many things we did not like.... No communication...nobody got back to the many messages that we sent..we were not sure how to check in... One toilet didnt work...no hot water....we needed accommodation for five...not four....stove didnt work... No info given when we finally checked in... Very disappointing!!

It was ok, but wouldn’t go back, main perk is that it’s steps from the beach

They say air conditioning omg joke its it 1 if 2 bedrooms not in common living space . Want oilet paper buy your own. Want a fresh towel forget that .you get a 2 bedroom beachview with absolute nothing. No pool that us working .on the beach is pretty but watch for theives n vendors who annoy u constantly

Check-In hat nicht geklappt, man wusste nicht wo man sich melden muss. Keine Angaben bezüglich zusätzlich anfallende Stromkosten. Die Unterkunft war schäbig. Wifi hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Aircon und Kühlschrank sind ausgelaufen. Kühlschrank war zu kalt, Getränke sind eingefrohren. Badezimmer hat gestunken als wir ankamen. Kein Zimmerservice. Personal und Security freundlich.

Had a great stay at Flor Del Mar condo. Front desk staff were always very helpful when had to ask for a little help. Even when was checking out there was an issue with transportation that was already arranged from another company. The staff helped getting one of their own taxis instead and helped with communicating (language barrier..)! Felt very safe in the area as well, once it dark there was a guard that sat by the gate and patrolled area all night. Only thing i didn’t really like was i found out when was first checking in that would have to pay for any electricity that would be used during week. Maybe i missed seeing that when was booking through travelocity, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

The property reception area was really hard to find. Once we found it the guy didn't speak hardly any English, the credit card machine wouldn't work and it was very hard to communicate. The beach was ok and restaurants were within walking distance. The couches inside the condo were dirty, there wasn't any clean water to drink, the water in the bathroom smelled horrible. The closet shelves were dusty, mosquitoes were in every room and ants had taken over the table on the balcony. The best part was the 4 bedrooms and the price.

If you are looking for no frills, this is the place. Excellent location with access to everything you need for a vacation, but not found in the room. No coffee maker, or lighter to light the stove, and no explanation on how to use the A/C. Water is not suitable for anything other than bathing. However, bedrooms and bathrooms were large. Location overcomes any shortcomings.
