There's nothing to like about the property besides the staffs that are very nice

Comfortable bed and good AC. The bathroom could use a lil more cleaning. I got to hear people from upstairs talking like they were in my room next to me. It is a great location and for one night I needed a place to stay. I recommend Noise Cancelling Ear Plugs if you're going there.

Monumental in every way but that of course depends upon your expectations. If you are content with modesty value and average comfort with nothing else then you will get a monumental nights sleep.

My room was very small. My room had no windows and no ventilation in the bathroom to suck up bad air out. The bed was very uncomfortable. The motel charged an extra $10 every time someone comes over to my room even if they aren’t staying over. The sink in the bathroom leaked and water was all over the floor everytime I use it. The TV only had 1 channel. The remote for the A/C can’t barely work because the battery in the remote never got changed. The rooms are so small, you can hear other people talking as they are in the room with you. This hotel is in a good location, that’s the only good thing about it, everything else not so good. I was supposed to stay there for 2 weeks but I ended up leaving after 5 days. On my last day there, as I started packing my bag, there was a lizard wondering around my room, it just freaked me out. Next time I go to Dominican Republic, I rather pay more to stay at an all inclusive hotel with pool and everything. I thought I was saving money by staying at a cheap motel but I ended up spending more.

Perfekt beliggenhet!! Jeg ankom sent på kvelden, men det var ikke noe problem. Dessverre fungerte ikke aircondition på rommet, men jeg fikk låne en vifte. Enkel standard med kun det mest nødvendige, men dette var kun for en natt og fungerte fint.

Love this place! Friendly people, great location, good AC. It's not perfect, but for the price, I have no complaints. If you want a pristine resort, go pay for one. This place was cheap and clean.

this is the worst hotel ever. what a nightmare. they made me pay 12$ more after I booked with expedia. They did not hive any breakfast and ask for another 6 $. there is no hot water and the room is dirty as hell. bed is uncomfortable. stay away from this place even if it was free. they are making a bad name for themselves. it's a shame because they are very well located.

I was placed in a bad location and my wallet was stolen the first night. For 175$ I got a new room in an amazing spot for the complete 3 nights of my vacation. I’d assume Expedia only paid 25 or so a night for my original room that I couldn’t turn around in. And they tried to make me pay again once I got there. If I wouldn’t of had a translator friend I would of paid for it twice

No Hot water !!! Imagine taking a shower in cold water..ceiling has water stains,no microwave to warm something,It wasn’t all that .

Nunca brindaron el desayuno gratis , no tienen agua caliente,habitaciones muy pequeña.Limpieza muy poca habitaciones.Puerta de los cuartos escrita con mensaje huesped.

This hotel needs some serious remodelation and upgrade

El desayuno no lo recomiendo, pero el trato del personal fue en todo momento cercano, agradable y con la confianza que te da si eres cercano con ellos. Su cercanía a las joyas arquitectónicas de la época colonial es de agradecer igualmente.

I like this hotel because is located in the center of the action of this magnificent Colonial Zone. I felt like in a resort full of nice and warm people...The staff of Monumental were always happy and willing to help the guess in a lay back Island way.. el señor 'moreno' was amazing with his low key happy personality... It's a modest play with great staff....The breakfast could be better. The yuca pure with sauteed salami was fantastic.. The cheese and ham sandwiches with ketchup, no bueno......

Room Very Small; The Location was good; Easy Access to restaurant and stores..

They only cleaned the room if you ask them to... out of six days , they cleaned the room once

por favor no oferten esta cosa llamado hotel monumental es un insulto a los clientes de expedia no voy a dar detalles por que es muy desagradable contar mi experiencia solo decir que me marche al dia siguiente pero vuelvo a insistir que POR FAVOR NO OFERTEN ESTA COSA TAN DESAGRADABLE LLAMADO HOTEL MONUMENTAL que ni es hotel ni monumental
