Great to stay

Excellent breakfast and staff very helpful. Location very accessible.

The room was really clean. Air conditioning not working, no phone in room and no internet even though multiple passwords were given at front desk. Shower not working. Mini fridge disgustingly dirty. Had to drive up 4 times to front desk and complain. After 5 hours of complaints, we were changed to another room. Still no AC, just a ceiling fan that did not suffice. No tv remote controls and no phone access in this room. Floor from bathroom had debris from tiles from Ceiling in bathroom On the second day, we were not told of a scheduled pool maintenance but was told it was going to be ready by midday…..still at 9pm it wasn’t ready. Yes they state they have 7 pools but the main pool was much more convenient as two others are located down many many steps down a hill and difficulty to get to due to health reasons - the other 4 had no water, lol. Staff very courteous - food was amazing. Manager offered a free cocktail after many complaints (wow) thank you. After manager finding out that I was the one taking her parking spot, we spoke briefly and she offered two more nights. We were done and over it already after two nights and left. Will not stay here again!

El lugar es precioso pero necesita mantenimiento, la ducha en el baño devuelve el agua, tenía mucha telaraña y la propiedad está bastante descuidada.

El aire no funciona la televisión sin control remoto fuimos a re sesión a pedir un control y el servicio de waifi y nada tuvimos que acostarnos así eran dos noches y nos fuimos al día siguiente alas 9,30 am y no quieren aser una devolución ni siquiera de la mitad de mi dinero casi 900 dolares perdí tengo todas las fotos de cómo está el lugar

Las habitaciones requieren una remodelacion urgente, pero la nuestra estaba limpia y el personal es muy amable.

The property is very ckean, the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

The river scene is beautiful but the hotel itself needs a lot of maintenance. Everything is broken and old the toilets didn’t work doors were broken shower doors were broken not worh

Amazing staff, room was clean, good food. The hotel is a little outdated but the views make up for that.

The only good thing about this place is the staff: very nice and friendly. But the room needed a lot of love, specially the shower: we had to wear sandals when showering because we did not trust the shower floor. Very sorry, but I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I am sorry to say that the only good thing about this place is the staff: very nice and willing to help. But the place needs lots of love! I can not give it more than one star and I do not think I can recommend it to anyone.

Room very old. Bathroom small shower not in good condition.

Its a nice place but its out of date and definitely needs some attention. But my biggest problem was that i got food poisoning from dinner during my second night.

This is a very beautiful, unique property with a river running right through the middle of it. There is a bridge to cross over, various areas to explore, and several swimming pools. The included breakfast is excellent—you can choose off a menu of various hot meals like eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, and traditional Dominican meals. The rooms are very basic but have fans and a/c; however it got cool enough at night that we didn’t use those. WiFi was so weak in our room we really couldn’t use it, but the signal at the pool and restaurant was strong. We had fun playing pool and ping pong. It was slow season so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Rates were very reasonable, and although the place was a bit rundown, it was clean, and we’d definitely stay here again.
