The limited food options, activities/entertainment for adults. They were reconstruction the whole time during our stay. I wouldn’t choose as my first option

The property itself is nice. They are renovating or fixing the building we stayed in 2 years ago. Most of the staff are great especially if you tip well. The steakhouse was not good. We actually left and went to the buffet. Teppinyaki was best restaurant as long as you were not seated near rude people or those so drunk they were sleeping on the table. That is not the resorts issue although the person inebriated should not have been allowed in. The grounds were well kept as well as beach area. There was noticeable algae in the pool closest to the beach. The concierge was quite rude. We had him get us a cab one day and he said it would be $15 for an 8 minute drive but driver charges us $20 US. We have friends that live in Ounta Cana for the winter and they picked us up and dropped us off one day no problem. The morning we left the concierge wouldn’t allow them to come in to pick us up to go to the airport. I said he had been in twice that week no problem and he stated that he could get us a cab to the front gate or we could walk there to meet him. I have a bad foot and was made to walk the 200 yards or so down the steep hill to the gate. What a terrible way to end a vacation. Been there twice. First time was great. Will not go back.

Overall my boyfriend & I enjoyed our time at Serenade. We had a swim-out pool, definitely recommend that. The food was decent. The buffet food was about a 6/10 to me. Not many options. The restaurants were much better. Be sure to book your reservations ahead of time, because they’re taken up quickly. Unfortunately, we did hear from two different parties that the cleaning staff was stealing, so that definitely made us uncomfortable. Also, there were people on the property constantly trying to sell you stuff very aggressively. They’ll stand outside out the breakfast buffet and step right up to whoever walks out. That was very annoying. There were also locals on the beach forcing iguana and parrot on you and demand cash for a picture. 0/10 for that! My beach experience was terrible!

The room are very big and clean. The place is very clean, and the food is very good love the hibachi restaurants, make sure u book a dinner reservation. Buffer is available from 9am to 9pm there also a sport bar open unit 2am. All-inclusive resorts. The life shows and the night club very fun also they combine Spanish music and America music. This is a great place for couples o with family too. There also outside activities to do as a couples and as a family. All Activities only few munities aways. I really recommends this resorts. The beach is clean and clear.

The property itself was fine. However, there is room for improvement in the quality of the food served at the dining restaurants, though the buffet offered a good variety. The entertainment, on the other hand, felt like a low-budget production and could certainly be enhanced—particularly the music and shows. The performances felt more like high school talent shows, and more effort could be put into them. On a positive note, the bar near the beach was a highlight, offering a nice and relaxing atmosphere.

Our family really enjoyed our time at Serenade. The food was good. The beachfront was good. The staff could be nicer.

Was a really good trip! Resort is clean, staff were kind and fun, food was decent, and beach and other amenities were great. Would definitely go back again.

Beautiful property, all inclusive. Food above avg. friendly staff. Stay away from people from Xpand shirts. They will try to sell you timeshare.

My wife and I went for our honeymoon, we had the pool access room - which was great to relax when we wanted a less crowded swim. The resort is beautiful, with lots of friendly staff. There are activities for all, great food and great service. Would definitely go back.

Perfect walkable size, modern facilities, and food that’s almost as good as home. This is the first all-inclusive resort in all my years of travel that I’ll make an effort to come back to!

I read the bad reviews and was worried. I shouldn't have read the bad reviews. The rooms, pools and beach were nice, the people were so friendly and helpful, and the restaurants had good food choices. We had so much fun and would definitely go back.

Easy access to beach, spa was nice, people were friendly, rooms clean, not much of a party resort- it was relaxing. Good for families and adults who come to get peace .

This is a solid choice in Punta Cana. Had a swim-up room, and it was very cleaned and served by the cleaning staff each day. Good amount of activities if that's your goal, or great for just sitting in the pool or on the beach (which has ample places to sit) to get some sun. Restaurant food was quite good, from hibachi to italian and the steakhouse, and the breakfast buffet was also plentiful (had an omlet made for me each morning). Only downside is they will try and sell you on spending several thousand dollars on joining a membership program for the hotel group, but sitting through an hour of that was really the lowpoint of the trip. Otherwise, a few people trying to sell you boat cruises and things like that but nothing egregious (and if you're with a group that could be fun). Staff was not overly courteous or rude (descriptions vary here and I'd say that's fair -- some are friendly, others barely look at you) but par for the course. Resort looks exactly as advertised, though note there is the family side, and the adult side, which are different reservations/bookings. If you're traveling without kids, may be worth springing for the adult side. But overall would return here myself!

The rooms are not as advertised. The staff at the reception are not helpful. Also be aware of them trying to lure you to sign up for xpand. Do not sign up !!!!! Our experience was terrible, will not recommend
