Don't even know where to start, but a few things: Tried to get contact with the hotel one month before arrival, but no answer on my e-mail. It was almost impossible to find the hotel since the name was something totally different than what was listed on hotels.com. No toilet paper and when I went to the reception I got some without a word from the staff. Most annoying was the lack of service what so ever.

We didn’t get the room we paid for. Very noisy air conditioning. Absolutely no interest to help us at front desk. Definitely not recommended

This is a very terrible stay. To start off we had arranged a driver with the hotel to pick us up and no one was there. No one was there during check-in, we had to wait over an hour to get in. They didn’t give us the wifi to our room. The place was very old, the doors didn’t work, the shower head was not working. The ladies in the front where very rude. This has been the worst experience ever. I do not recommend this hotel. Save your money.

Initially, the driver was unable to find the property and had to call to get directions. Once I arrived, the receptionist was on lunch, and I had to wait 30 minutes in the heat. Once the receptionist arrived at 2 pm, I was told the room was not ready and I had to wait another hour.

SCAM ALERT. At my arrival to the place, they did not have my reservation. After complaining and checking it (20minutes with this) they told me there were overbooking in the hotel and I had no room. After complaining of that they offered me a room in the building next to them. As I came for business I said ok, but experience was horrible. Dirty apartment. Balcony to AC machines. WiFi not working. AC not working properly. DO NOT GO.

My check in was refused by staff at this property I was left stranded in a foreign country and had to find other accommodations even though I had a confirmed reservation, that was paid for .the staff refused to talk to me or the booking agent, orbitz . She asked the driver “why did you bring them here?”Very disappointed

This property is perfect for the location where the beach is nearby, within walking distance. The staff was lovely and the hotel gave me all the basic necessities. My only complaint is the wifi is not great. I had to use my cellular data traveler's plan, which I usually do when I go out of the country. I am glad I booked here because I got to talk to one of the locals here, who explained and treated me amazingly. I would definitely recommend visiting the gift shop right next to this hotel. The owner really has a passion for helping tourist enjoy their vacation here in the Dominican Republic to the fullest.

Be careful with reserving this property through Expedia. Upon arriving, I was told that Expedia did not forward the reservation to the property manager, and that there was no vacancy. It was quite nerve wracking, but the gentlemen at the front desk helped me find a place to stay.

We didn’t have hot water, and bathroom got clogged! I won’t come back

This place is very nice. The beach is just a few steps away from the unit and the nicer beach is less than 5 mins walk away. We love to take a stroll at night at the beach and just sit there listening to the wave and watching the stars. Highly recommended place to stay at!

TrueCost was cheap. It was clean. The check-in process was easy and quick. It's a pretty basic hotel on a fairly busy/noisy road. There are several night clubs in the area so there was loud music until 1-2am every night. The beach is about a five minute walk and the "beach club" is about another five minute walk down the beach. The beach club is nothing more than a bar/restaurant that will let you use their loungers and give you 10% your bill. No beach towels! Everything you need is within walking distance including dozens of restaurants, several mini markets (decent prices), pharmacies, etc. The pool was clean and there are many loungers to use. The A/C in the room worked well. The breakfast included with the stay was at one of three nearby restaurants, none of which are more than a 90 second walk. You get to choose your breakfast from a list of four or five items. They all included coffee. The choices are basic but pretty good. Joy restaurant was our favourite and they also included a choice of fruit juice.

This trip was unforgettable. I took my friend here for the birthday and we could not be happier with our stay. Staff was there to greet us and let us check in early on the morning. Adorable spot with a breathtaking views, so relaxing - highly recommend!!

Las instalaciones de la habitación es pésima. La puerta del closet no abre, el soporte de la ducha y del papel higiénico esta quebrado. El toma corrientes quebrado y descubierto con el peligro de electrocutarse, mesas de la terraza quebrada. Habitación sucia y cada 2 días la limpian. Esto lo reporté el primer día pero no tenia donde comprar esos repuestos según la repuesta entregada por la encargada. Coordiné taxi para la ida y la vuelta del aeropuerto tanto por correo como por teléfono y no llegó el taxi. El segundo día la mucama no hizo aseo y robó un perfume con crema recién comprado marca Victoria Secret a mi mujer junto con un labial y sombra para los ojos. La respuesta del hotel es que yo tenia que denunciar a la policía a la mucama ya que era su último día de trabajo. el último día a las 09:30 am no había con quien hacer el check out (la recepción estaba cerrada). Cama cruje al mas mínimo movimiento. En el aeropuerto no se conoce como "TrueCost Caribbean Paradise" el nombre real del Hotel es Tropicana.

Staying here is a step away from an awesome spot on the beach. Short walk, you are there. It was unlike any other on the island and staff was full of great advice and good vibes. Awesome place to stay. Very safe and it felt like we were staying with family. Instructions were very clear and all of the guests were friendly.

Literally everyone took excellent care of us and were very friendly. The staff was so pleasant to be around and were always there to lend a helping hand. The location, you can’t beat. We walked just about everywhere from here but taxis are easily accessible as well. We would definitely stay here again.
