I love the place. Very quite, nice facilities and cabins. Good attention and service.

One of the most amazing stays that I ever had in Mindo, Sara was an excellent host, very sweet and always able to help and assist in anything that I needed! Great attention to details and service to make your stay unforgettable. The place is immaculate clean, the food was awesome and more than what I was able to eat lol. Highly recommended if you are looking for a special place surrounded by nature, plenty of fruit trees, birds, running creeks throughout the property and two adorable dogs ♥️ a place to make memories as a solo traveler or with family. Definitely a come back for me; thank you team for all that you did to make a very special stay for me.

I enjoyed a two night stay here after traveling from Quito. We arrived late at night and they were very accommodating. I enjoyed the charm and greenery of this place. Sara was friendly and provided us with a delicious homemade breakfast in outside in their garden. I highly recommend this place.

Fabulous hosts, bird life in grounds, delicious breakfast, perfect location. Room was clean, and just as pictures show. Would definitely stay again. Celebrating new years with owner , staff and guests a bonus.

Great place to stay if you want to be close to town. The staff was great and always willing to help out. We had a great time and highly recommend Cada de Piedra.

Muy buena atención y la limpieza de primera, las habitaciones muy comodas, la ubicación muy buena, los servicios adicionales son buenos y se tiene mucha paz y tranquilidad

Hicimos reserva en este lugar ya que creímos haber encontrado una buena oferta en Expedia en cuanto al precio en comparación a otras propiedades con características similares. Sin embargo, la pésimo administración y calidad del servicio indispuso nuestra estadía incluso antes de haber llegado al solicitar pagos por adelantado en fechas anteriores a las mostradas en Expedia, perder recibos de pago, llamar para cambiar las características de la reserva y querer subir el precio sin avisarnos todo esto con el "afán de ayudarnos", finalmente dar un trato por demás irrespetuoso y hasta sexista en el momento de recibir nuestra queja. Las habitaciones que recibimos en el tercer piso no fueron las más cómodas para una familia y menos las más seguras para una niña de 3 años. El baño es pequeño e incómodo es imposible regular el agua caliente o fría, el agua se calienta tanto que hasta te quema. No tiene servicio de restaurante como lo indica en Expedia. Lo que rescataría de este lugar son los espacios verdes que son muy bonitos, el lugar es limpio y ordenado, el desayuno al aire libre es agradable y la piscina en horas de la tarde.

Grounds at the hotel are really beautiful. You can see lots of birds and even a resident agouti. The hotel is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from Mindo square with lots of restaurants and amenities. Staff is very friendly and helpful and can book excursions for you. Breakfast is really good with a variety of items served.

I bought my stay via Expedia, and was asked to pay VAT tax at the property, what I denied, and also I was asked to pay additional 10 dollars for the 2 old baby breakfast. However, breakfast was very simple and plain. Overall location is OK, though I would say too much of aggressive sale.

Pudieran mejorar el área de piscina y su limpieza, de igual forma la parte del comedor para desayunar ya que hay muchos mosquitos, pero en general el hotel es muy bonito y acogedor.

Die sehr freundlichen, herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber haben uns ( Familie mir 3 Kinder) ein kostenkoses upgrade gegeben. Es war super schön, das Frühstück war wie Tischlein deck dich. Wir können das Hostal nur empfehlen. Danke viel viel mals für dem wundervollen Aufenthalt ;-)!

I didn’t think this place proves good value for money. The “cabins” are mostly small, rustic rooms. The tin roofs are super loud when it rains. The showers are electric so lukewarm water at best. And there is no restaurant; you can order a meal with a 2 hour reservation. The property does not have parking spaces - street parking only.

La reserva la cancelaron y nos dejaron sin estadía. Nos dijeron que por llegar tarde habían cedido la habitación inclusive avisando con anterioridad que íbamos a llegar tarde. Además de que la atención al momento de llegar fue descortez.

Overall good experience. Staff is very polite and helpful but the check in process was very slow. It took us 45 minutes of wait. The bungalow we got was nice and clean. However, we did not have water due to some problems with the water main supply. The hotel water reserve did not work on our place. Breakfast was good.

I only stayed at Casa de Piedra one night but it was exactly what I needed. Quiet, clean, and comfortable with friendly staff and a great location. It was quite an easy walk into the main town with all the shops and restaurants. But just out of the way enough to be very tranquil and peaceful.

La hostería está bien. Es bonita pero las habitaciones son muy estrechas. No tienes lugar para una maleta ni un lugar para sentarte o un espejo. El precios por persona por habitación es muy alto considerando la estrechez y que no cuentas con un baño en la habitación sino que es un baño compartido para todo el piso. El dueño es muy amable y el desayuno es exelente.
