There was no nightstand, no bedspread, and the balcony light stayed on all night, which made it feel like daytime. But the young man’s kindness was excellent.

There was some mix-up and I was told that I had reservations for the location that DOES NOT have a pool but it was a block away so the sister hotel with the pool accommodated us. Kudos to the employees for their quick resolution to our issue. Both hotels were decent but this is really a review of hotel Orquideas 1 because that's the location we ended up staying in. As mentioned, there are two sister hotels (Orquideas 1 & 2), just make sure yours is the one that has the pool if it matters to you.The pics were misleading because it makes you think that the pool is located at the hotel you book but it's at Orquideas 1. I would still ask and confirm. The hotel itself was decent. The ac was sufficient but I went in December so I'm not sure how hot it can get during other months. The pool and the terrace made neat hangout spots whenever we were in our hotel. I have friends who live locally and told me that the area we were in was dangerous. With that said, I'm not sure if the ubers and taxis go out there at night. My friends picked us up and dropped us off so nothing sketchy ever happened during our stay. Thank You Jesus.
