The staff was excellent; the food spectacular (the chef used to work at the Hilton), they upgraded our room with no additional cost. The receptionist/waitress was very informative. The room was spotless and was cosy with nice lighting, a fireplace and electric heating. There is a lovely hike up to the top of the mountain, too. The whole place is very clean and organized with both indoor and outdoor thermal pools. Great for couples and families alike.

Es ist schön, warme Pools direkt am Hotel zu haben. Aber: Das gebuchte Zimmer hatte den Charakter einer Höhle. Wir haben ein Upgrade gekauft. Sehr unüberlegt designte Suite. Eiskalter Fußboden, keine Ablagemöglichkeit ( wir baten um Kleiderbügel für die Kleiderstange ... man beachte uns 2) -aber völlig überflüssiger Whirlpool. Und die Dusche wurde nicht warm. Wir hatten ausdrücklich (!) um Zimmerreinigung gebeten. Nichts war passiert bis zum Abend. Habe man vergessen ... dann nachgeholt. Frühstück ab 8:30h ist spät, finde ich. Am Abreisetag baten wir um Lunchboxes: Wir erhielten Wasser, süßen Tee, und 4 kleine Schokoriegel. Ist das eine ernsthafte Lunchbox?? Ich hatte eine formale Rechnung erbeten. Man schicke sie mir per Email. Üblich in Ecuador. Aber ich habe sie bis heute nicht erhalten. Keine Gäste-Orientierung. Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Fazit, leider: Dieses Hotel besser meiden. Es gibt zahlreiche bessere Alternativen!!

Staff was very kind and helpful. It was lovely to have a fire built and bath run for you every night. The restaurant was very good and the surroundings are beautiful

The hotel is very old, bad looking facilities, hot spring tub old and not very clean, the toilet didn´t flush right, the water in the sink didn't flow. the chimney was never lighted properly, the staff was never around.

Un lugar muy bonito pero necesita un poco de trabajo la estructura en el techo vi q hay murciélagos también cerca de la piscina termal del centro el piso está roto sin embargo la habitación espectacular la tina de agua termales estuvo a otro nivel muy bueno

I loved this property! The thermal pools were amazing and very beautiful and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. Restaurant was delicious. All around great stay. I would recommend this to any friend or family member.

Un lugar hermoso y tranquilo en las montañas. Piscinas termales excepcionalmente limpias. El fuego en la habitación y el baño privado eran encantadores.

La temperatura general de las termales (No son naturales) en general son bajas para lo que se aconstumbra la más caliente no tenia suficiente temperatura.

La propiedad es muy bonita pero el precio no justifica las instalaciones ni el servicio

Las instalación son limpias y ordenadas menos el sendero para caminar falta de mantenimiento y en la oferta de Expedia se ofrece con calefacción y no se cumple con este ofrwcimoento

Es un lugar al que uno quiere regresar

The hotel is in a beautiful location and has 6 hot spring pools on site that are very enjoyable. The room was very large, with comfortable beds. The room and hotel areas (like restaurant) were very cold! Even though there was a fireplace in the room it was small and didn’t provide heat throughout our time there. The guests have to wear heavy coats in the dining room. Bring a bathrobe to wear from the room to the pools… it’s very cold. They don’t have a concierge to provide information about local tours and if you don’t speak Spanish it is difficult to get around.
