ホテル パレス グアヤキル

グアヤキルということで治安面で不安があったのですが、ホテルの周辺は歩いて観光ができました。ホテル側から街歩きに関するアドバイス（持ち物等）がちゃんとあり、参考になりました。部屋はとても綺麗で、スタッフもとても親切でした。

空港からはタクシーで5ドル、混んでなければ20分以内です。 イグアナ公園の1ブロック北側で各国の国旗がはためいているのですぐに分かります。 周りはとても治安がよく夜も安心して歩けます。

初めて宿泊したが、建物が古いが、従業員のサービスはよい。トイレ、バスはリノベートしており、気持ちよく入浴できる。

I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at this property. First of all, the hotel is located in a very dangerous and unsafe area. I did not feel comfortable even stepping out of my car. This alone should be clearly disclosed to guests before booking. To make things even worse, the hotel closes its doors at late hours with no staff available, no security on-site, and absolutely no way to get inside the building. I arrived late and tried calling the phone number listed on the reservation several times, but it did not work at all. No one answered, no one showed up, and there was no emergency contact. I was left stranded outside the hotel in a high-risk area with no assistance. This is completely unacceptable for any hospitality business. A hotel should provide basic safety and access for its guests, especially during late hours. Instead, I felt abandoned and unsafe. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the stress, the risk, and the money—book somewhere else.

This hotel is welĺ worth its price. It is downtown near the Malecon and other sights. While it is a little older than some of the "fancier" newer hotels nearer the airport it is clean, well kept, with a very professional staff that knew we were coming and called us by name, and it is half or in some cases 1/3 the cost and only $5 for a 24 hour taxi service to the airport. Breakfast buffet is included and is complete and nicely presented with a cook there for special omlettes etc. Trust me. You'll like it at a much more reasonable cost than the big names.

Breakfast buffet with a large variety of options. Very friendly staff, always available to help. Restaurant with great food options. Rooms quite clean, sound proof and blackout curtains.
