プエルト・アヨラのメインストリートに位置。立地は最高。 施設設備としては申し分なし。スタッフもかなり対応は良い(日本語は不可)。 朝プールサイドでアシカも見ることができた。 1階はやや外の音が気になるときがあったのだが総合評価としては良い。

Outstanding waterfront, hotel in the perfect location. Close to pier, restaurants, and shopping. Sunrise from the balcony was beautiful each morning.

Location was great. Room had a balcony facing the ocean. Pool and restaurant had views of the sea. Breakfast buffet was good. The hot water in the room was sketchy, not always available. Pool filter was not working, water was cloudy.

The hotel was ideally located close to restaurants, port and entertainment.

The WiFi is spotty but the service is great. This hotel is expensive compared to the simpler ones that are further away from the water. Although, the location and view of the water is amazing.

Hotel muy bonito y excelentemente ubicado. Nos dieron un up grade a una habitación con vista al mar en el edificio principal. El único detalle negativo fue que el día domingo la piscina y toda el área exterior estaba copada por muchísimos niños (q no se alojaban en el hotel) que festejaban un cumpleaños. Por lo demás, todo 10 puntos.

Of the two tours we booked with this hotel, one of them had its leave time changed from 8am to 6am less than 12 hours before the tour was to take place. Although we had the times in writing, they did not give us our tour as contracted. When we disputed the charge to our credit card company, the hotel manager lied about the circumstances, the same treatment we received when we were there. We met many people during our visit to the Galapagos, and they were appreciative of the other hotels where they stayed. I highly recommend bypassing this hotel in order to receive honest and gracious hospitality. If you have to stay here, try to get a room away from the street and away from the pool, as rooms facing these venues are really noisy.

Excelente servicio y atención de todo el personal, la habitación muy confortable, todas las habitaciones con vista al mar y a la piscina. Excelente el desayuno buffet y los platos a la carta. Nos recibieron con un coktel de bienvenida, fue una estadía encantadora.

Upon arrival we spent a little extra money to get an ocean front room at Hotel Solymar across the street and it was worth every penny! The hotel is beautiful, with fabulous world-class food, excellent service and the most beautiful location ever. The staff is excellent and very friendly. Our room was very nice with an ocean-front balcony where we could watch the boats and wildlife, including a sea lion lounging in the swimming pool! Can't recomment Hotel Solymar enough. A wonderful experience!

Fantastic hotel and location.

Close to everything, they also upgraded my room, the bar with the hammocks, and the hotel sitting at the edge of the sea is just soooooooo perfect for me. The staff and especially the night time receptionist was so helpful and friendly. If you are going to Santa Cruz island and wanted a suitable hotel, this hotel has everything you want and more. Tortuga Bay (beach) is walkable from this hotel. You would not regret booking this hotel.

I made all reservations through Expedia and they allowed my first night in hotel to be cancelled. When the hotel notified me I immediately called Expedia and they did nothing, on the phone for 2 hours with Expedia, and they did nothing to remedy their mistake. I called the hotel in Ecuador myself, to reinstate the first night of our stay. It cost me a lot of frustration, a lot of time, and the expenses of overseas calls, but I got it done. Hotel was excellent, but Expedia took no action to remedy their mistake and did nothing, NOTHING to help us.

Been to the island 5 times and stayed here on two different trips to Galapagos. Great service and location. They upgraded my room from the Isla Sol to the Hotel Sol y Mar with an ocean view room. I forgot my snorkeling equipment. They shipped it overnight free of charge and it was waiting for me in QUITO. How TAME cargo charges $2.61 for overnight service from Galapagos to Quito is unbelievable! DON'T swim in the pool though...its really just for the Sea Lions and the birds..its fun to watch BUT VERY UNHEALTHY WATER!
