The room was lovely, with incredible views of the mountains and river. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.

Johan was absolutely amazing! Extremely friendly, super helpful, very personable, and makes a great breakfast. The property was also fantastic! I got the room with the view of the river which also had a balcony and hammock. I've never felt such peace with the gorgeous view. Can't recommend this place enough! Coming back to Casa Verde ASAP

This was an absolutely magical stay in Baños by the roaring river Pastaza. I really wished that I could have stayed more than one night! The views were amazing, and I would have surely loved to take more advantage of the hammock on the balcony! Hospitality and host great and accommodating too, with parking available, highly recommended!

We had river view room with hammock - AMAZING Great location around Banos & Waterfalls, room very clean, beds avg, breakfast delicious and front desk extremely helpful with all actions.

Lovely place to stay

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and I highly recommend it! Beyond the comfort of the place, we experienced something truly special on a human level. The hotel manager is an incredible person — always attentive, available, kind, and welcoming. He took care of everything to make our stay perfect, organizing all our excursions so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The hotel’s location is ideal: right across from a river, with stunning views of the mountains and lush greenery. Breakfast was delicious, and the prices are unbeatable. We truly felt at home, almost like being part of a family — a rare and precious feeling when traveling.

The only problem I had with the rooms was there was a peculiar smell and had mold most places in the room and the ceiling. Hot water for shower was not available on the third floor. Breakfast was good. Not a bad experience but the only thing I would recommend is more lights in the room and take care on the mold in the rooms.

Very nice hotel. Quite area but close to city. Room much larger than average for 3* hotel in Ecuador. Overall exceeded expectation.

Cozy place to stay with everything you need and gorgeous views. Great communication. Friendly, super helpful bilingual host made us a fantastic breakfast. Safe, comfortable neighborhood. Definitely recommend.

We loved that is was very quiet as opposed to the noisy downtown. The taxi ride to the center is only $1.50 so you won’t waste any time or money. They were absolutely fab at helping us make the most of our time in this special place.

Rustic but great experience at la Casa Verde. Staff was super helpful. Peaceful and very nice breakfast. Not far from town.
