タフリール広場に近く交通や飲食は便利。施設は古いが部屋の掃除は行き届いていて使い安いがシャワーの出は弱い。エアコンは冷房のみ。 周囲に夜遅くまで開いてる店も多く安心。ドライヤーを貸してくれた。

受付で、余計な税を払うことになりかけた。エクスペディアでしっかり税を払っていたのにも関わらず。他の予約者にも同じようにお金を別で取っているのかもしれない。 また、ここに泊まって個室のUS50ドルが机からなくなっていた。

清潔で快適に過ごせました。ホテルのスタッフも親切で丁寧。食事も美味しい。重い荷物を６階から道路まで運んでもらい，タクシー料金を交渉してくれました。それでもチップを受け取ろうとしませんでした。繰り返し感謝の気持ちだから受け取ってくれ、と言ったらやっと受け取ってくれました。

とにかく清潔。朝ご飯も美味しかった。立地も最高。スーパー、酒屋、美味しい飲食店（フェルフェラ等）も近い。スタッフもみんな親切だし、英語が通じる。また、タクシーの交渉もやってくれるし、荷物も運んでくれる。バクシーシ（チップ）を受け取ろうとしない態度も、あまりにも他のエジプト人と違うので感動した。「本当に感謝しているので受け取ってくれ」と言い、やっと受け取ってくれた。本当に気持ち良く過ごせた。

This I hostel is amazing for a budget stay: location is great (walking distance from tahrir square, metro is in the heart of Cairo. There are multiple supermarkets and stores nearby, the view is nice, speciay from the balcony of the communal room. The staff are really friendly, room was clean and tidy. Breakfast at the hostel was oriental (fool, falafel, salad, scrambled eggs and jam), very filling. One of the staff (his nickname is Manga) was very nice even after checking out he offered to make me a tea. Highly recommend.

I had an excellent stay at the Hostel. All the staff and all the people who belong to the establishment, treated me very well at all times and provided me with all the services, I am very grateful to everyone. I hope to return to Cairo soon and stay here again. Excellent Hostel

I stayed at Meramees Hostel for almost a month. The truth is that I have found all good things, all the people who work and collaborate for the hostel are excellent, they treated me very well from the beginning to the end and provided me with all the services. I hope to go back to Cairo and stay again in this fantastic place. I am very grateful to everyone, my stay has been excellent!

muy buena opcion en el corazon del cairo , muy amable el anfittion nos guardo el equipaje por unas horas tambien , considera que no hay internet disponible y que es ruidoso pero asi son todos los hoteles en el centro del cairo, lo recomiendo nos quedamos en dos ocasiones y ambas satisfactorias.

Otele gitmeden 4 saat önce arayıp gece 2de uçaktan inip checkin yapacağımızı bir sorun olup olmadığını sorduk ve bize sorun yok resepsyonist sizi karşılayacak dendi. Gece otele giriş yaptığımızda bize otel odamızın dolu olduğunu söylediler yanlışlıkla başkasınada satılmış olduğunu söyleyip ve bize otelin 5 kişilik tuvaletsiz banyosuz hostel odası gösterildi ve itiraz ettik çünkü biz otel odamızı özel banyo ve tuvalet dahil 2 günlük şekilde ayırtmıştık bizi 1 günlük başka otele gönderdiler otel ayarladılar ama oranında özel tuvaleti yoktu ertesi gün otele geldiğimizde kaba bir şekilde neden geldiğimizi sorguladılar bağırdılar ve itiraz ettiler . O otelde kalmayacağımızı söyleyip bize düzgün bir otel ayarlamasını söyledik ve kaba bir şekilde tartışmaya devam ettiler hakkımızı zorla alıp bizi düzgün bir otele yerleştirmelerini sağladık ve bu tartışmalarla uğraşırken piramitere gitmeye vaktimizin daraldığını bundan sorumlu olduklarını söylediğimizde bize özel tur ayarladılar ama siz bu sorunlarla karşılaştığınızda sizi çözümsüz bırakabilirler . en başta yapması gerekeni esn sonunda kavga ederek yapması bizi sinir edip enerjimizi düşürdükten sonra yaptıkları için bir anlamı kalmadı. Kesinlikle profesyönellikten uzak müşteri memnuniyetini önemsemeyen kaba çalışanlarla müdürle karşılaşabileceğiniz bir işletme asla tavsiye etmiyoruz.

The room and bathroom were clean. The manager is friendly and helpful. They upgraded my room. Overall it was a very good stay.

I stayed there for 3 weeks. There are at least 4 issues which make this place difficult to stay. The breakfast starts at 8:30, which is inconvenient for all the guests, as it is too late, so many of us pay for it but skip it. The cooking lady is not in rush> A after 40 minutes of waiting (I was the only guest!), I asked about their problem. She began LOUDLY, RUDELY and IN FRONT OF ME discussing me with the other staff saying nasty things about me. I said that it was unappropriated and never ate thereafter. They do not care and did not reimburse the cost of my breakfasts (I asked for this). The second issue: the front desk ladies are unprofessional: they never greet guests. Nada, the daughter of the owner of the hostel, is constantly stuck into her phone and speaks to all the guests as if they are dust under her feet. The third: a complete absence of any flexibility. Once they receive your money, you will never see them. When I arrived at the hostel, my plans changed, and I asked about moving a checking out date TWO weeks before the original termination, but the owner refused saying that he "would lose." The fourth: a bare min. is invested into maintenance, and whatever is done, is done awfully. For instance, the screws that they used for putting a bed together, are sticking out for abut 7 cm. I damaged my leg so bad, that it is healing till now, and I hope that there would be no permanent ugly scar there! No wonder, such things happen with such an attitude to the guests!

The receptionist Ahmed, a young guy, was very helpful and pleasant. Although bathroom is shared, it was always clean. Located in downtown Cairo, within walking distance of Tahrir square. Great value for the money.

The location is prime close to the tahrir square and the Egyptian Museum. Many local restaurants in the block behind the hotel. If you want to try local cuisine there is plenty to choose from. The Reception staff was helpful and provided great service. The Hotel/Hostel is on the 5 and 6th floor in a building that feels strange walking into. Entry floor of the building is dark and dusty with a bench that makes you wonder where you arrived. 1st floor looked deserted with a door with arabic letters and an open window overviewing a broken house facade, 2nd floor news tv channel, 3rd floor investment in touristic real estate, 4th floor Sinai hotel and dive center, 5th floor is reception of the Meramees hotel. Walking the steps up the building there is many question if you are at the correct location. The room was great, I had the double bed room with en-suite bathroom. Great room for the price! Solid breakfast with falafel and omelette The only drawback is the elevatorshaft outside the window. in the hallway there is two toilets for the dorms and rooms without toilet and unfortunately during my visit one was broken and continues flushing all night.

Très bien , lit super confortable. Les gens super sympa petit dej très bon ( et pas malade après ) Bien situé au cœur du centre ville .

Overall, I had a positive experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and well maintained, which was much appreciated. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in the area and want to be near the Museum of Egypt, this hostel is definitely worth checking out.

Thankyou very much Meramees hostel. Gladly we found a good place to stay. The hostel was so cool with a classic and nostalgic vibes but a little bit hard to find the hotel with no big sign n it was located in front of big road so there’s so many car at that time. But overall, the stuffs the the room the breakfast the amenities the internet is good. Keep it great til the end 👍
