Clean rooms. Ac works great. Jetski were fun. Pool needs some repairs and cleaning.

Very cool cozy and extremely private.

If you have any issue walking stairs - this won’t be the best place for you to stay. Only two rooms are downstairs and the rest are upstairs. As you can see from the hotel photos, the pool and the dock are down several stairs. I had asked to the hotel ahead of time twice if my room was downstairs as it had to be, since I cannot walk stairs, and there was no response. So when I got there, I was given a room upstairs. From that point, the hotel went above and beyond to help me with all that. They literally had two of the men at the resort, carry me up the stairs in a wheelchair and then back down in the morning.

Friendly helpful staff

The view here is phenomenal. The hotel offers so much peace and easy access to the lake with unlimited kayaking included in your recreation. The staff were great. I have much more positive things to say about my stay than negative…. The only thing is that I found the pool water to have an opaque color and didn’t seem as clean in comparison to crystal clear pools I’ve been too. Though regardless of that factor I would 100% come back and recommend.

Perfect hotel getaway from the city. Room had an amazing lake view. Staff was awesome, very nice and friendly. Food was awesome, from our complementary breakfast to the house hamburger. We got to relax and enjoy ourselves, will definitely be back.

This place is Heaven and I need to go back! Best decision I made was staying here when visiting El Salvador. You will not be disappointed!

Impeccable, clean, comfortable, loved that there were towels for shower and seperate ones for the pool. The staff is welcoming, helpful and kind, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pool can use some TLC, but the views were simply breathtaking. If your budget allows you, do go for the lake view, it’s worth it!

Fue la primera vez que visitamos Equinoccio, leímos muy buenas reseñas y eso nos llevó a elegirlos para celebrar nuestro aniversario de bodas 23. Pero, los desayunos los sirvieron con frijoles arruinados en dos ocasiones, El primer día los retiraron y se supone que se informó a las áreas correspondientes, pero al siguiente nos volvieron a servir lo mismo aunque nos ofrecieron aguacate en lugar de los frijoles. La piscina no se veía limpia y por eso no la usamos. Además, hubo un corte de energía prolongado en la zona y el hotel no contaba con un generador y eso nos llevó a salir del hotel y buscar otro lugar con energía e internet lo cual era necesario para nosotros. El corte de energía afectó el agua en la habitación y el aire acondicionado. Debido a que la ubicación del hotel es bastante retirada, nos tomó tiempo encontrar el lugar para realizar las tareas que teníamos. El hotel solamente nos ofreció unas bebidas de cortesía debido al inconveniente de la energía.

Lake view is very good. Staff at the bar was nice and friendly except that during breakfast we were surprised to get charged for American Coffee instead of getting free refills. We paid for the Coffee but mere fact of the waiter didn’t tell us upfront. Everything else was good and we liked the experience there. Thank you.

Yes, the place was amazing!!!

The positives were nice lakeview for my room (the property has lake access), very clean room, nice food, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Katia was very efficient. You can get free kayak and other gear. The negatives were the dusty dirt road you have to drive to get there (which is not their fault, but which was not clear to me before booking), the mosquitoes, and the fact that a few stray dogs kept coming in when people were eating. They were harmless, I think the staff knows them, but it made me uncomfortable.

This place is truly special. It’s right on the water, so access is easy; you can enjoy both the pool and the lake. The food is very good (you can have all your meals at the hotel), the staff is warm and friendly, and the rooms are clean with very comfortable beds.

Staff were lovely and the spot was fantastic nice lake views pool was great. Rooms for the price were over priced in our opinion
