こじんまりとした、とても綺麗な宿泊地です。オーナーの方が非常に感じが良く、親切です。 部屋は大変お洒落でした！ カラフルで、センスの良いダイニングではセルフサービスの朝食が利用できます。（フルブレックファストでは無いので、目玉焼きとかベーコン等は無いですが。） ヨーグルトやマフィン、ジュースやコーヒーが自由にいつでもセルフサービスで利用できます。とてもオススメ出来るゲストハウスです♪

Was a lovely simple property in the heart of Bournemouth, only a few minutes walk from the town or the beach. Self check in/out was seamless and they offered a decent self-service breakfast. Room was clean with plenty of amenities.

Was forwarded details for self check in & clear instructions meant it was hassle free. Didn't encounter any staff during my visit, only stayed 1 night & there was a contact number provided but I didn’t need to call for any assistance. Lots of options for breakfast & room was clean & tidy. Self check out was also clearly explained.

I booked for two days, I only spend one day

Excellent property. Great room size, clean, chair and desk, TV, wardrobe. Good bathroom. Breakfast area amazing.

Great little guesthouse in a convenient, if hilly, location! Wasn't sure about the shower room being separate to the bedroom but the thoughtful provision of a robe to go to and from it made it a bit better. Very comfortable bed and a fan provided if room was too warm but I managed with an open window instead. Breakfast was a self service, basic, continental but perfectly adequate with a selection of juice, cereal, bread, packaged croissants and pain au chocolate, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

Lovely guest house, clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast selection. Mo was very friendly :)

Daughter and her friend were very happy with their stay, very clean room & great location for their cheerleading competition.

Die Räumlichkeiten sind ganz nett gestaltet und unser Badezimmer war komplett modern eingerichtet. Von der Umgebung hier ist es perfekt ca. 5 gehminuten zum Strand und ca. 5 geh Minuten zur Einkaufs Passage. Leider gibt es keinen wirklichen Zimmerservice, nur auf Nachfrage. Das Frühstück ist sehr dürftig gehalten, nur Nutella , Marmeladen und Brot wie auch zuckerhaltige Joghurts und Müslis. pulver Kaffee und O-saft aus der Tüte. Kam leider einmal um 9:15 zum Frühstück und es war kein Brot mehr vorhanden.

Good budget stay

I loved staying in the Bamboo Guesthouse. Jake, the manager, was friendly and helpful. He said 'I was to knock on his door, if I had any problems with my room or ran out of coffee, tea biscuits etc. Breakfast was serve/help yourself and there was a variety of cereal, bread, continental breakfast, juices, milk etc. The paintings and the murals, in the hallway, on the stairs, the landings, my room, and the room where we had breakfast, were very colourful and enjoyable. The only complaint I have and it's a small one: is that the decoration, for example, the wallpaper, paint work, skirting boards etc need cleaning, painting or replacing.

Well located, upkeep in need of attention

Stayed one night. Ideal for us as we were visiting family locally. Great position for visiting town. Great hosts.

The manager very kindly let me drop off my luggage first thing in the morning and it was waiting in my room when I checked in later in the day. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bed linen was clean but hadn't been ironed which I sort of expected in a B&B. I was there for four days and the room wasn't serviced in that time so the bin was overflowing and I needed to keep going downstairs for tea bags and milk etc. The breakfast was great with fresh croissants and pain au chocolat each day. There was a strong smell of herbal cigarettes the first couple of days.

Jake's a great host

The stay was ok but left me wondering how this guesthouse has obtained its many great reviews which are very contradictory. Guesthouse manager was polite and friendly but their appearance was not very professional looking at all. This place has potential to be great place but it needs a lot of work. Carpets very dirty. Fridge very dirty. There's a funny smell sometimes. Wallpaper curling. The whole place needs to be refurbed and seriously cleaned. I think the guesthouse is positioned in-between two drug houses as well, it's not rocket science trying to figure that out. Breakfast there was a lot of choice, so thank you for that. Location good, but you have to go up a big hill from the town centre, but good exercise.

The room was smaller than we expected,  but it was clean. There was no air conditioning, but the manager, Jake, provided us with a tower fan. The bathroom was also clean with towels and soaps.  Jake was very helpful and tried his best to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was generous, with a choice of yogurts, cheeses, jams and croissants. The location of the guest house is excellent,  close to the seaside and the town centre. We went to French restaurant Cote for our evening meal, which was also not far from the guest house. I think that is affordable and a very good place to stay. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget holiday. 

Very nicely decorated guest house . Was warm but big fans provided. Single room , very nice bathroom external across the corridor ( but private use ) . The manager very nice guy, breakfast continental style served in a bright room. All in all , would recommend.

Absolutely faultless. Felt so welcomed and looked after. Definitely will return!
