Staff very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Very clean room with extra touches. Restaurant food was excellent with great service. Facilities were great. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it. We will be returning.

Lighting in the room was poor but other than that room was lovely, had a works Christmas party and the meal was not nice the drinks very poor and it wouldn’t hurt for the staff to smile once in a while sorry but there was not much Christmas atmosphere at all and the dj could’ve been better

Plenty of parking and we felt safe leaving the car in the car park.
Check in was fast, the room was easy to find. On the whole the room was lovely, spacious and clean. The shower cubicle looked like it needed a good scrub.
Take away hot drink cups were a nice touch, I made tea for the journey home.
There was a good choice for breakfast and everything was delicious.
Staff were friendly and helpful during the whole stay.
We would happily stay again.

I found this to be a lovely hotel, very clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The staff were consistently helpful and, even if they couldn’t resolve a request immediately, they always followed through later. For instance, I often needed extra water, coffee, and milk, and without fail these were waiting in my room after a day out, which I really appreciated.
That said, I did notice a few inconsistencies. On Thursday evening, my husband and I enjoyed drinks at the bar accompanied by complimentary olives and nuts, but these weren’t offered over the weekend, which was disappointing. Similarly, on Friday morning lattes were included with breakfast, yet by Saturday and Sunday they came with an additional charge. It left me wondering why the experience varied depending on the day. Bit of a shame really as I would have given 5* throughout otherwise.
