To attend conferences, I stayed here. The hotel is so near from the many sightseeing spots of Bristol, also there are a lots nice staffs in the hotel. Moreover, the bar 'the square' which is under the hotel is so good about appreciating the atmosphere and cocktails. When I came back from outside, a room is always kept clean. I really really can spend comfortable time and make nice memories in Bristol. It is highly recommended that you choose the hotel :)

入り口はちょっとわかりにくいところにあるが、広場に面しているので朝は静か。坂の上にあるので駅からはタクシーで向かうのがいいかもしれません。バスターミナルからは歩いて１０分ほどですが、こちらもアップダウンがあります。部屋の内部はとても清潔で、綺麗好きな人でも満足できるでしょう。

暖房がきかず、冬の寒い夜に布団以外にコートを着て寝ました。もう冬は泊まりたくありません。

I never choice this hotel . //reason// 1.noisy My room is room nbr 3.It located next to the bar.Bar door is always opened and I hear the music through the night. 2.smell A pillow smells have smelly something.The cover changed however it smell.worst!!!! 3.dirty A dirty sheet was considered to be leaving behind in the passage

It was a shame the hotel was under renovation. The room i stayed in definitely needed upgrading. But the staff were all very friendly.

A wonderful location from which to explore Bristol, with friendly staff, great food, and a comfortable room.

Fantastic 7 night stay while travelling on my own for a course. The food was delicious, the staff were gorgeous and the location was perfect. Small rooms BUT as a solo traveller that made me feel even more at home. Will deffo stay there again if in Bristol

Booked here cos it's walking distance to our son's dorm who just graduated from Bristol University. Very unique interior with a vintage vibe. Love it. One downside is that no air con.

Hotel was in a great location and very comfortable

We had a great stay and welcomed by friendly staff. It was a warm stay and there was a good fan.

No AC makes the room really hot during the summer, a fan was provided but made little difference and was really noisy. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything from the hallways. Bed rather uncomfortable and hard, not really hotel standards on pillows either. Shame because the location is good.

Lovely hotel, our room had been refurbished and was lovely, it did get quite stuffy in there but there was a fan which helped

Wonderful stay my go to hotel when in Bristol wonderful location and fantastic rooms. I have stayed here many times over the last 5 years and staff have always been helpful and friendly.

It was perfect, we loved the place and the location!

Had to transfer from a room on arrival as the window backed on to a patio area with people outside, then was given a room 2 floors up and unfortunately lift wasn’t working which we was informed about 2 weeks before. The room next to us was being renovated and also the restaurant bar area was closed on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. Plastic over the stairway. We was given clean towels each day on the made bed but there were dirty glasses and cups left and coffee and tea not restocked. It’s such a shame there were so many things - as we were there for a wedding and some of the nice touches would have been well received if only the basics were ok - we did ask for someone to contact us before reviewing but no one did.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, plentiful Continental breakfasts.

The price charged by the hotel is not justified, and the facilities or condition of the room are quite average.

Clean and comfortable room. Nice welcome tid bits - fruit and a little sherry. The hot breakfast options were limited but the dish was i got was delicious and cant complain. Lovely, carefuly assembled yoghurt granola pots in glass jars were delicious. The location of the hotel in proximity to centre is fantastic. There are so many great spots to grab some food and coffee within short walking distance. It could get a little noisy (i was on the top floor) - little soundproofing and elevator and other room doors really travels/resonates. And there was a bit of work being done on my floor the morning i checked out also, including sanding of one of their hallway walls, and that noise travelled and was a pain. But overall, I'm happy with my stay and woukd recommend this hotel. I'd also like to give a shout out to all the staff who were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
