Easy check in and very friendly, room was clean and warm, show was roomy and water hot. Great nights sleep.

Bedding was clean, the overcover looked old, shower was hot on the first day, but cool on the second day

I sent the host an email requesting an early arrival to drop our bags, I am still waiting for a reply. There is no lid on the toilet, leaving no where to put clothes when attempting to shower. The shower is in a bath tub, with only a hand held shower head, no vertical rail The hot water was luke warm, then turned to cold again so I guess it didn't matter about the crappy shower head because the water was cold, leaving us without having a shower The wash basin has a large crack in it You need to operate 2 remotes for the TV The floor in room 4 flexes when you walk on parts of it, tread gently. The door closer at the top of the stairs needs adjusting, as it closes very quickly. The Wifi was good

Avoid Boutique 25 in Skipton if you don’t want your holiday ruined. The only redeeming feature of this place is the housekeeper, who deserves a medal for working here. Everything else belongs in an anthology of bad hotels. The rooms look nothing like the glossy photos — unless you enjoy spectacular optical illusions that can turn a donkey into a Porsche. The mattress is soft and saggy, the shower has all the practicality of a garden hose nailed to the wall, and the water couldn’t be persuaded to get hot. The rooms are freezing, but don’t expect heating — instead you’ll be offered a cheap electric radiator, presented as if it were a luxury feature. Noise from the pub in the basement makes sleep impossible — unless you happen to enjoy the sound of thudding bass as a lullaby. The host/receptionist? Rude, dismissive, and allergic to helpfulness. When I asked for ice to treat an injury, his only concern was that “the towels would get wet.” His answer: “We don’t have that kind of ice.” (I wasn’t aware there were different breeds of ice — perhaps icebergs, cubes, or stalactites?) A request for late checkout? Denied. Help with luggage? “The housekeeper will do it.” On arrival, I was told this is “a hotel for couples.” That explains the Bible in the drawer — clearly there for some light, edifying pillow talk. This isn’t a boutique hotel. It’s a cold, noisy, badly run joke — but without the laughs.

Was no hot water in the morning for a shower and the room was very dusty and cracked sink in bathroom and not great deco in the room

Clean and great space to the room .. Nigjt club situated directly underneath room creating noise but if you on a night out its handy

Advertised as B & B but no breakfast. Good that you are given keys so can come and go as you please. Very noisy Friday night as bar open downstairs.

Convenient location, perfect for what we needed. Clean, comfortable, very welcoming host.

Well, we wanted to see if we could leave a small bag prior to check in and after we’d checked out. No response to messages. The answer incidentally is no. The frontage is NOTHING like the pics. It’s really run down. The entry has scabby wallpaper which goes up the stairs. The woodwork…well it’s been painted by a small child without any of the prep beforehand. The stairs pic shows a beautiful wooden stair. It’s not! They’ve nicked the picture from elsewhere. Our room; well the bedding was clean as was the bed. The wardrobe, as you walked past it to the bathroom rattled (like a tambourine). Jacuzzi bath was clean. There wasn’t a shower although the was a hand held one. Pity the cleaner doesn’t clean the towel rail. It’s filthy. The handbasin was cracked and no cover on the loo seat. Windows in the bathroom have opaque sticky back plastic on the panes. Now that’s ok, but it’s chipped and peeling. Look, it’s not expensive but it’s hostel condition at hotel prices. I’d avoid!

Not a boutique hotel is dirty looks nothing like the pictures and when I approached member of staff he became hostile and left didn’t even stay there stay away from this dump

Very basic amenities and could do with redecorating. Bed was very comfortable.

Bed reeds new mattress. The host was very helpful and friendly

Check in went well and the room was as expected. But the window in our room wouldn't close and there was no staff around to help with the issue ,we looked before going out for food and again when we got back as it was still before their end of check in time. Lucky for us we took ear plugs with us so the outside noise wasn't too unbearable or I'd have given a lower score.

Nice affordable hotel in a great central location in Skipton. We were met by a very polite member of staff who showed us to our room. No problems to report, we will definitely stay again when visiting the area 😎

Had a great stay. Checking and out was easy and straight forward. Room was clean and a good side with a lovely ensuite shower room. Modern and light and airy. A good size wardrobe , tv and sound system.

Check in was fine. Friendly and helpful. After that no service of anykind. By which i mean a three day stay used towels removed but not replaced, bed sheet never channged, not sure the duvet cover was changed from.last guest.
