ブラッケンクラグ

This is a three-story house located on a quiet street close to Bowness-on-Windermere. It's a walk-up unit (so the ground floor is not usable - you need to climb up one level to the living room and kitchen area). The house was clean and comfortable. We were a large group of people, four adults and two children, and we found the house to be quite spacious. There are three bedrooms on the top floor, which is one level up from living room kitchen. The only drawback I would say, especially for large groups, is that the house has only one bathroom. The toilet and the bath are separated. We made it work though larger families may want to take this into account.

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Brackencrag - which was very comfortable THANK YOU! We visited Biskey Howe Viewpoint as recommended in the welcome pack. Stunning views and a few minutes uphill from Brackencrag. Ideally located a short walk into Bowness-on-Windermere and boat trips on Windermere. We spent one morning at Stock Ghyll Force in Ambleside, booked a local taxi from the card in the welcome pack - friendly service and once there - lots of rain and water! Loved it! Then walked 2.2 miles to Brockhole Activity Centre. Then returned in Taxi to rest at Brackencrag before driving across in the afternoon to Aria Force near Ullswater. Spectacular and magical views on the way by car and such a treat to see Aria Force! Car parking available. Climbed up rugged paths - one way system in place - We like waterfalls - had a great time.
