We had a lovely one-night stay at Broome Park Hotel with our little dog before catching the ferry from Dover. It’s a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, with stunning grounds that are perfect for an early evening walk. All the staff we encountered were incredibly welcoming and friendly.
The only very minor downside was the housekeeping. There was some tea-stained paper left underneath the tea and coffee-making facilities, along with a soggy olive stone, which was a little disappointing in an otherwise lovely room.
Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Broome Park.

The pictures make it look nice, however reality was a different story.
The lodge is very tired, smells, the bedsheets were smelling damp and just in a poor state.
I would suggest that Hotels.com remove it from their listings

You are paying for the grounds and location to be honest. The nostalgia of the building and rooms is very classic. Grounds well kept.
Swimming pool no very well maintained and needs a lot of work in my view.
Staff are helpful and doing a great job. Friendly.
Parking at the front of the hotel is hit and miss so be prepared to park in the golf course carpark.

The exterior of the building is beautiful and creates a great first impression. Our room was a very good size and initially looked lovely; however, we did encounter a few issues during our stay.
The bathroom door would not close, and the privacy curtain in the bathroom was damaged, meaning it did not provide complete privacy.
One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the advertised heated indoor swimming pool. Unfortunately, the pool was extremely cold and did not feel heated at all, which was very disappointing.
The restaurant food was excellent and was one of the highlights of our stay. However, the service could have been improved. We had to ask what drinks were available rather than being offered a menu, and despite requesting bread twice, it never arrived.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but it would have been significantly better if the facilities matched what was advertised—particularly the heated pool. We also felt that the photographs on the website presented a more polished impression than the reality, so our expectations were not fully met.

We stayed one night and I have to say, the place is absolutely stunning.
Our Junior Suite, in one of the separate buildings, was beautiful. The vaulted wooden beam ceiling, huge bathroom with both a shower and bath, plus a separate dressing area, made it one of the most impressive hotel rooms we've stayed in recently. We even spent the evening watching a red moon from our window, which was a lovely end to the day.
Sadly, housekeeping really lets this hotel down. The bed was clean, but there was dust and cobwebs throughout the room. The radiator by the bath was covered in cobwebs, there was dust behind the door, and large cobwebs around the entrance where you insert your key. These are basic housekeeping jobs.
The same issue continued around the hotel. The building is magnificent, especially the impressive entrance ceiling, but even the beautifully carved staircase figures were covered in cobwebs. It's such a shame because this is a stunning property being let down by poor attention to detail.
Breakfast was excellent, but checkout was disappointing. We were greeted with a blunt "Yes?", handed over our key, and after confirming we'd already paid, were simply told, "You can go." No smile, no "Thank you," and no "Hope you enjoyed your stay."
Overall, we'd definitely return because the hotel and room are beautiful. However, Broome Park really needs to improve its housekeeping and customer service. They're dropping the ball on the basics.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. Hotel and my room always looked clean and inviting. Meals were tasty and well presented.
If had to make a criticism it would be that there was no portable (temporary) air conditioning and the windows in my room (Charles 3rd) could not be opened. A large fan had thoughtfully been provided before my arrival but in the heatwave simply moved the hot air.
Bar and restaurant staff were excellent and despite seeming to be switching between roles at times, there was never much of a wait.
This was my first break in 2 1/2 years and was very relaxing. Would definitely visit again.

The English breakfast was good. We stayed at the Flint House. The room was sufficiently large and the bed comfortable. Had issues with the temperature in the room. Asked for the advertised space heater and was told they were all dispersed and none available. Also the water pressure to the toilet was very weak. However, even with these issues the stay was pleasant enough.

A fantastic two nights stay was had recently at this lovely hotel for me and my Assistance Dog, Remi. The staff were wonderful, welcoming to us both and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a memorable experience. Thank you to all, names elude me but one I remember is Dom (front of house) The restaurant staff were also brilliant (I’ll make a point of naming them when I stay again in a couple of weeks time….have enjoyed so much I had to come back!!)
The rooms are excellent, clean, tidy with fantastic views (front or rear) the beds extremely comfortable and the silence is wonderful….makes for a great night’s sleep.
The bar is intimate, comfortable and a perfect place for a pre dinner drink as is the lounge area.
Only other review is for the Restaurant! The chef is fantastic….he/she happily adapts the menu (within reason) and the quality is spot on (this from me that was a Chef at the Goring Hotel!!) Breakfast is generally a buffet (hot and cold) with plenty of choice, good quality ingredients and perfect to start the day with.
All in all this is a gem in the Kent Countryside with historical relevance in its history.
Final note……I’m not a golfer or a swimmer!!! Both a golf course and indoor pool are available and am told (speaking to guests) both are ‘rather quite good’

Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely place to spend the weekend. Beautiful buildings steeped in history. We stayed in the flint cottage which is separate from the main building, which was Lord Kitcheners temporary home while the main house was being renovated. The room was very pleasant, the bed was super comfortable. The only annoyance was there were bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower but they were all empty.
We dined in the restaurant for evening and breakfast and afternoon tea and all the food was exceptional. The Cathedral is approximately 15 minute drive and well worth a visit with a good selection of nice shops also.
All in all a lovely weekend for us and I would have no hesitation in repeating the visit or recommending Broome Hall Park.

A propriedade é belissima, mas as acomodacoes deixam a desejar. O lençol era ok e a cama fazia um enorme barulho ao me mexer.
Cafe da manha nota 5, com pouquissimas variedades de itens.
