Nice chalet in a lovely setting and conveniently located. Very well equipped too.

Excellent accommodation. Could easily have 3 or 4 people staying..very quiet area walking distance to pubs and shops

Comfortable very well equipped chalet. The chalet had everything I needed - kitchen utensils, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Also tv. Comfortable bed too. The setting is lovely right on the river bank and useful to have parking right next to the chalet. There was also some outdoor space and walks right from the chalet.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful area, linens and cooking utensils provided, as well as a few tea bags and coffee sachets for a cuppa and a sit down when you arrive! easy self check in with amenable hosts. 10/15 min walk to the local high street, and ample parking space. a great self catering stay - does the job, i would happily recommend and stay again. thank you!

It’s was very good that you can spend time together and make memories

Property was dirty and smelly Had to clean ourselves. Ants infestation in the bathroom. Also you can hear the trains to by. It has so much potential, just needs better looking after. Positive, it was close to the station and and regular links to central London and Cambridge. Paul

As always, chalet was clean, tidy and comfortable. The surrounding is lovely and perfect for biking, kayaking and boating.

The setting is beautiful, and my hosts were lovely. Will definitely come again.

Stayed many times. Love the place. Restful after a Day's work. New Bathroom, especially power shower, a treat.

Great location, right beside canal opposite the canal cafe. Chalet although dated , it is comfortable, clean and has all that you need. Will definitely be looking at booking here again, it’s great value for money.

Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep!

Very well located ,near railway station.close to town

A lovely quiet spot by the water. Excellent, friendly communication. The cabin was cosy and very clean. We really appreciated the addition of the fan in the warmer weather! We did have an issue with the shower which is a bit of a faff but the staff were excellent and got it sorted, making sure we knew what to do (thank you Grant!). Location is handy for travelling into London yet felt like a rural retreat being next to the water. Kids loved the geese! The cabin is right next to the busy railway line which might bother some but we found that sound quite relaxing really and missed it once we were back home to our very rural silent setting!

Our family of three had a wonderful visit. Everything was just as described. Such a tranquil location. Would definitely visit again.

Stayed for a whole week. Property is warm, comfortable, clean and the owner is so helpful and freindly.. really recommend this place...what a beautiful place beside the river, wildlife was incredible and i will be staying here again for sure.. just perfect

Good location quite apart from the trains which you soon get used to. Good value.

Chalets are basic but perfect for short stays and the location is great. 5 minutes to the station and the high street. Lots to do in the area if you like water based sports.
