We had a lovely stay; the B&B was clean, tidy and welcoming. They were so accommodating and kind, and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be returning on another visit to the New Forest.

The room was lovely. Food was lovely. Downside was not having a key to get into house. Didn't feel private enough

Cameron House seems to be a big, residential house on a long residential street. It doesn't advertise itself well from the outside so we drove straight past it first time. The drive is narrow and there's nowhere to turn round so we ended up having to reverse out which is a bit scary given the high walls around the property. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, but I don't understand why we had to present a passport or other id in order to check in. I've never been asked for that in any other hotel in the UK. The room was fine with everything that you need, although the door to the bathroom (shower only - no bath) wasn't easy to open, which caused me a bit of a panic when I thought for a few seconds that I was locked in. The local area isn't particularly great. Don't expect a small, cozy village. And although you can cross the road, climb over a style and be in the New Forest, it's called something bog! (Can't remember what the something is, but it didn't sound welcoming). So all in all it was a good standard, clean and the hosts were lovely, but something about it just didn't click with me. I can't put my finger on it, but I can't imagine heading back there out of choice.

Good location near to A36. Clean comfortable room - very good mattress and excellent shower. Breakfast was delicious. Owners friendly and helpful.

Stayed at Cameron House just for one night with my husband. Family run business, lovely couple, would definitely go back and would recommend to others.

Lovely, welcoming hosts. Very good breakfast. The whole place was spotless. Would go again and recommend to anyone. A very enjoyable visit and place to stay.

Cameron house was a home from home. We had a lovely stay. Everything was perfect. The hospitality was amazing as was the room from cleanliness to comfort. We will be returning.

We arrived quite late due to traffic problems. The kind hosts waited up for us which was lovely. We didn't book breakfast as we had to leave very early for our meeting in Salisbury. Everything was beautifully decorated clean and well thought out. Would stay again if visiting the area in the future.

We stayed in the family suite with two young children. This is more like an Air BnB experience than a hotel, which was fine with us. The family lives there and makes breakfast each morning. The main issue was that the wi-fi didn't work, which was a larger Problem with no cell phone signal there. Also, they use fragranced laundry detergent and air fragrance which is fine for some but we dislike. Overall, though, they are a sweet family that provide a personal touch.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Hatten alles was wir bräuchten. Etwas abgeschieden und nicht so einfach zu finden. Gute Ausgangslage für div. Besichtigungen.

Room was small, musty and extremely hot. Windows were open and there was a resident blue bottle buzzing around the room. As my son has allergies we decided not to stay. The hotel staff stated no refund - talk to Expedia. When I pointed out Expedia's T&Cs that the second night was refundable I was told that no-one onsite knew how to process a refund so I would have to wait. It is now one week later and still no refund.

Spent one very nice night here. Very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't really be happier. Just don't expect to use the pool that is in the photos. Great location in the new forest. Felt like a proper bnb staying in a family home, although it was very professionally set up and I felt very secure and welcome. Everything was very clean and the shower was really really good.
