I couldn’t leave this place fast enough. Room was so small you could barely turn around, and was not as depicted. Parking was a nightmare! Host was not happy that we were arriving at 9 (check in close), and made sure that we knew we had inconvenienced him. Earlier I had let him know it would be evening before we would arrive and he was fine. After a long day of mishaps, we decided to grab dinner before checking in, which apparently was not the thing to do! We arrived at 9 and were treated very poorly. Perfect ending to what had already been a bad day. Left at sun up and skipped breakfast so we wouldn’t have to interact with Eldon! Worst stay in our two week trip to Great Britain.

Practical, well placed. Very friendly owner. Great views from the front. Good breakfast.

The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine however the room was nothing more than a cubbyhole and not very soundproof. Was hindered by snoring and plumbing noises

Great B&B quick check in by phoning the number on the door, keys in keybox after owner supplied code,spacious very clean room/beds ,tea & coffee,towels,shower gel,cotton buds & cotton pads (great extra).Great cooked breakfast, very friendly staff, 15 min walk to town centre with loads of restaurants.Free parking at the side of B&B

Nice for the money. Owner:host was very nice. Noisy neighbor in next room ruined it a bit.

Last minute decision to stay over in Keswick after a long walk in the area. Craglands was a budget friendly option. Clean, warm and comfortable rooms. Attenttive, friendly host and superb value for money.

Had a lovely couple of days staying at craglands , Eldon our host was spot on with us, even helped carry one of our cases to our room which was on the top floor ( view was fantastic but the stairs are a killer lol ) cooked breakfast has to be ordered the night before with plenty to choose from ,cereal and toast available as well which you just help yourself to , room was lovely and warm and clean, parking is at the side of the property and bear in mind you're reversing off the main road , but thats just the location of the property, really convenient for keswick town centre , its about a 20 minute walk downhill, we got a taxi back as we had been for a few drinks and that was cheap ( less than 5 pounds) all in all a great stay

WE did not stay there despite having paid for the room, the property is very run down , there was a horrible smell in our room and a notice on the window saying it could not be opened because there was a wasps nest outside. Do not believe the rating or the so called verified reviews for this property on Expedia!

Booked at the last minute. Quick and good communication from owner with instructions on self check in. A good priced hotel in a good place to tour the lakes. Breakfast excellent. Room clean and functional. Bed comfy. Parking, being good at reversing a must!

A lovely guesthouse with a lovely owner. It’s walking distance to everything in Keswick. Lots of information on walks etc provided. A fantastic cooked breakfast is included in the price. The only negative for me is the radiator in my room wasn’t as hot as my friend's room downstairs and I really feel the cold. Otherwise perfect.
