Breakfast options were help yourself to cereal, yoghurt, toast, pastries, juice, tea and coffee. Hot options were full English, vegetarian alternative, eggs Benedict, toast with scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon sandwich or porridge. Our household had the full English and it was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs. Very pet-friendly, most guests had dogs with them. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only fault we had with our room was the window being stuck open, which made it hard to sleep when the beer garden was full of loud guests. This was only really an issue as we had children with us.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly.We had an evening meal which was really lovely and tasty and plenty of it .Our room was very clean and big enough for us,you can hear the traffic and people outside when going past as our room was by the entrance to the carpark but it was ok.Breakfast was a choice of tea,coffee,3 juices,pastries,yoghurt,cereals, toast,jam,marmalade,full english,eggs benedict so a great selection.Overall ill give our stay 10/10

The woman at reception was very friendly and nice.

Rooms ok, not extra ordinary. The glass shelf above the sink appears to be positioned too low and protrudes in a way that could easily result in someone hitting their head while using the sink. The breakfast time provided (8:30 AM) is inconvenient for business travellers who typically need to leave early. As a result, the hotel does not appear to be well-suited for business purposes. I noticed a visible dark mark on the towel provided in the room. While the towel itself felt soft and clean overall, the mark along the stitched edge was quite noticeable and slightly concerning. For a hotel, attention to linen quality and presentation is important, so I hope housekeeping can ensure better inspection before placing towels in guest rooms.

The pub was well stocked. Menu was very good. Breakfast was brilliant. Would definitely stay again.

After a fairly tough bike ride from Totnes the inn was very welcoming and friendly. The staff were lovely and showed us where we could securely leave our bikes. The breakfast was excellent.

Staff were excellent from the checking to check out. From the cleaning staff up nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was excellent both day's. My brother had a small wedding reception and the food and service was 1st class.

Another Fabulous stay at The Cromwell Arms. It truly is a Pleasure to always give this place a visit when we’re in Devon. We booked a double room, excellent bed and such a great sleep. Room has free WiFi, Tea/Coffee/Milk, Kettle ect… The only criticism I’d make is the tv in the corner wasn’t in the best place to watch as after a while our neck began to ache with facing to the right for so long, also tv could do with being a little larger. The property has a Car Park, also with disabled spaces too, a Beer garden and very dog friendly. Shops nearby like Tesco express. We had dinner at the Cromwell. I had the Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding Sunday dinner and my Husband had the Roast Turkey & Stuffing Sunday dinner, all came with seasonal vegetables and gravy. It was cooked to perfection and delicious too. I couldn’t manage a pudding but my Husband did and he chose Apple & Pear Crumble with custard and enjoyed every mouthful. After a Great sleep we were looking forward to the Breakfast and having been many times before we knew what was coming. I had to have the Eggs Benedict and my Husband had The Full English, both cooked to perfection using all great produce, fresh bread for your toast, apple juice as well as orange juice, a choice of cereals, fresh fruit & yogurts and tea/coffee.
