Jill gave a very warm welcome. Had a wonderful stay, Very clean, very peaceful. Breakfast was fab, everything you could possibly wish for. Parking free. 10 minute walk to town centre, so perfect too. Location perfect.

Wonderful place to stay, a true country guesthouse. Easy 10 minute walk from Ambleside. The mountain view from my room was stunning, watching the evening sun over the Fairfield Horseshoe. So peaceful, the only noises you'll hear are sheep and birds. Highly recommended.

This is a 5 star BnB, set in beautiful gardens and farming land, very quiet (except for the occasional RAF trainer jets during the day) and elegantly appointed. Close enough to town but away from the madding crowd! Of our 4 weeks travel thus far, this has been the standout.

Full breakfast. Views and property out of a storybook. Amazing walk into an amazing town (Ambleside). Absolutely everything we hoped it would be and more.

Breakfast was very good with a good choice. Adequate Parking. Good local information pack in the room with some suggestions for local walks. Staff very friendly. Rooms very clean with everything we required.

Excellent hotel with a wonderful view of the mountains and the nature around, our window have a view of both and including a cow's pasture. Their installations are very cozy, well equipped and all the amenities you can need. They serve a great and delicious selection of breakfast options, all fresh made by them and locally sourced. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers a dry room for shoes and jackets (extremely useful after a wet day of hiking). Their location is around 20min walk from Ambleside or around 7min walk from the nearest bus stop. Regardind their installations, our bedroom had a extremely comfortable bed/sheets, two armchairs, tea/coffee and chocolate to enjoy and also a mini fridge. It also had a big TV and DVD player with their own dvd collection (a good catch during the Saturday storm we got). The bathroom has a delightful bathtub and shower and excellent towels. We definitely would stay again at this hotel and do recommend them for anyone looking for a place to stay in the area, especially consider they offer everything you need to get a full recover of a day full of hiking and be prepared for the next day out in the beautiful nature around.

Lovely staff, nice and clean, great breakfast selection, great location, everything was great really. Only thing would be fewer single serving things like milk, ketchup and brown sauce packets. But otherwise a great place and we'd definitely go back.

We had a lovely stay, room beautiful and clean with gorgeous views. 10 minute walk into Ambleside. Staff great too.

We'd been walking all day, so really appreciated the lovely warm, snug room with armchairs positioned to admire the lovely mountain views and the selection of hot drinks provided. Bathroom really nice with a big bath (and plenty of hot water) and walk in shower. We headed to the Badger Bar, about 1km down the road, for a lovely meal. Breakfast was fabulous - good selection of cereals and fresh fruit salad, then either a generous full cooked breakfast or smoked salmon and eggs. Would stay again.

Staying at Crow How was so peaceful and beautiful. The view from our window was idyllic, the property incredibly lovely and the hosts as kind and helpful as one would wish
