Pleasant rooms , lovely bar and good food. Very helpful friendly staff

Convenient with safe, easy parking. No fuss. Perfect for overnight stop after visiting friends. Well priced.

My only issue with my stay was there was rip in quilt cover when we arrived late evening in morning we brought this up and was assured it would be changed but when we got back from day out it was same sheet on

Food was great in the bar and also a good selection of drinks. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly will definitely return

Plenty of secure parking at rear, friendly helpful staff, large room with air conditioning and good breakfast. The pub is in great condition, the room was clean, but could do with some refreshing…it smelt damp and the corridors are in need of redecoration. We used it for a Heathrow flight the next day…20 minutes by car and would on balance use again as it’s better and more reasonably priced than on airport hotels (which can’t guarantee a parking space).

Beautiful oldy-worldy Pub/Hotel. Great breakfast. Room was nicely decorated, but freezing! No amount of fiddling with the Aircon helped.

Room amazing, comfy and clean. Car park very secure. Staff were all really welcoming and helpful. The food and atmosphere in the bar were a highlight.... excellent quality. A classic upmarket British pub experience.

Pleasantly surprised. Was booked as an overnight pit stop for Thorpe park but actually wished we’d spent more time there. Quirky, cosy and everything you needed like ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee machine etc. even snack in the room (chargeable). Literally 5 mins to Thorpe park

On arrival, greeted at reception, checked in quickly and efficiently. Went to room but alongside outside courtyard and very noisy, also bed was still normal size and I had upgraded to king size. I went back to reception and asked for a quieter room, which he sorted straight away. On entering the new room had a king size bed. I had asked for peppermint/ mint teabags in room, but in fairness because I had changed rooms there wasn’t any in the new room. Room was lovely and clean, bed very comfy.. Bathroom was clean, but plug holes full of hair, (pet hate of mine), I’m a cleaner so one of the things I notice.. Room needs a bit of TLC, but I know they are currently updating.. Breakfast was of good standard, plenty of choice, fruit, yogurt , pastries, nice bread, choice of juices, cereals and cooked.. Staff in restaurant area very friendly Would stay again if in the area..

Das Hotel war ganz in Ordnung. Im Treppenhaus war ein starker Geruch nach Essen der etwas ins Zimmer zog. Ansonsten grosser Raum, sehr sauberes modernes Badezimmer. Einfacher Check in und out.

Really great place to stay with the bonus of aircon. Great staff and everything you could ask for. Would recommend.

Nice stay. Large Room and comfy bed. Elevator did not work, so a couple og stairs with suitcases 🙂

The hotel rooms are very tired, marked walls and worn carpets. Lighting dreadful for working in the evening. Pillows very poor quality. Just very unloved hotel bedrooms. The lift has been out of order for sometime. It looks like money is spent on the pub and garden.

Lovely rooms in the armoury. Loved the little complimentary sweet treat too!

Car park is very small and tiny spaces. Not easy to move around. Building work taking up most of the spaces.
