Had a great long weekend, well kept grounds, room larger than expected & spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice on offer. Plenty to choose from on the dinner menu also & food cooked to perfection. Cannot believe this is only rated 3 stars, at the very least it should be 4 star. We will return again.

Great breakfast, room was good, but found some dirty pillows. Rooms are not soundproof so you will hear everything from next rooms or from upstairs. You're not allowed to buy food from outside and dinners but expensive.

Special Welcome from super friendly staff on arrival, and very accommodating to a late check out request All 3 members of staff i interacted with went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
Great accommodation in beautiful surroundings, and great facilities to enjoy during my stay.

Excellent country hotel, not too far from Windermere. Seems to be a dog and dogowners haven! I really liked the presence of the cute dogs. Surroundings very lovely. Please be aware that there are no restaurants in the vicinty and hotel has limited capacity in theirs. After a full day on the lake we came back to the hotel and no dinner😡

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings - far enough away from the busy Lake District hotspots to make it a peaceful stay, yet close enough to everywhere you might want to visit!
Beautiful garden and pond, with friendly ducks.
Clean throughout with spacious room and bathroom, and a comfortable bed.
Great breakfasts with lots of choice.
Only little niggle - it would be an added bonus to be able to have a cappuccino or latte choice at breakfast :)

The hotel was very well kept and our bedroom we think had been recently refurbished and was lovely and clean.
The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and the scenery out of the window over the duck pond was beautiful.
The grounds were well maintained with seating areas outside and also around the duck pond.
The only problem we encountered was the Jacuzzi on the second night was a bit hot to sit in but we still had the pool and steam and sauna to enjoy.
We enjoyed this hotel so much we have booked to go back in July. Very highly recommended.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The rooms were beautifully clean and housekeeping were in every day. Breakfast was really good a lot of variety, well cooked, always hot. Buffet style but replenished constantly. Well sited for the touring of the lakes by whatever way you wish to do so.

We had a cabin room w hot tub. Room was spotless & decorated v nicely. The cabins are definitely not new as indicated on website! Some worn items in need of replacement. Foodxwas good. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Breakfast buffet was good with decent selections, bed comfortable. Room small and a bit noisy with thin walls. Bathroom dated, shower cubicle very small and a bit grubby.
