First time traveling to the UK. This hotel did not disappoint. Very friendly staff upon arrival. Clean room and very nice bar and restaurant.
I made a mention of being on our 35th anniversary to the lady that checked us in, and before we made it to our room she had anice surprise waiting for my wife and I upon entering the room.

The hotel itself and rooms are very nice.
However on my second day, there was no hot water at all and when this was reported to the front desk staff, the response was a very matter of fact "oh sorry about that, there must be a problem with the boilers"!
It would also be good if the access to the gym was extended as I stayed here specifically to use it but was unable to get into it early in the morning or late in the evening :(
