On check in, I asked if we needed to book for dinner. Was told no, because we aren’t busy at this time of year on a Friday. When we turned up at 6.30, they struggled to find us a table because there was a coach party staying.
The heating system in the bedroom is poor , either on or off, no low setting. Just an AC really, all blow or no blow.
The mattress in 217 was awful. There was a topper covering up a sunken mattress. High and firm at the edge, sunken in the middle. 4 star hotel…..more like a tired 2 star.
And the sticker price for 2 small dogs £50 for 1 night. Wow
Would I stay again? No
Rather be at the Days Inn and be cheap and cheerful

Rooms arent the cleanest and could do with a bit of a bit of a refresh. Rust marks on the bath. Hairs on the floor. Found blood on the mattress protector but the staff did replace that.

Room and hotel very clean and welcoming. I have stayed many times before and this is my chosen hotel in the area. My stay was the first weekend in December 2025. Sadly some of the guests were not considerate of other guests, there were children were running along upper floors and there appears to be a group gathering in the room next door which was quite noisy until about 11PM. Even with my tv turned on, I could still hear the loud laughing and squealing from the next room. Also, as I returned to the hotel, there was a group of 15 smokers blocking the covered entrance to the hotel, which everyone wanting to enter the hotel had to walk through. Which as a non smoker is extremely unpleasant to endure.
