日曜の朝 8時30分からなので 食べずにチェックアウトした リバプールから遠くて大変時間が かかった 不便でした！

Clean room, friendly staff, great location, parking available at the church opposite for a fee.

The location is in a quiet square on the cusp of the museums area. Parking in the road is available. There are some places to eat but rather more a good walk away. Thus the flexibilities of having an evening meal in the hotel are welcome. We ate here twice and enjoyed both meals. Our room was modernised but the bathroom was old school. An excellent breakfast is served with hot items prepared for you( not buffet) What makes our stay stand out was the staff. They have the right attitude; helpfull without being overbearing. Jackie and Nicole deserve mention. We would be happy to stay again.

Excellent all round , checking in ,room allocated comfortable sleep , excellent choice of continental breakfast along with the afternoon tea booked ,, drinks in the bar were a good price ,

A very nice hotel. Stayed for 1 night in August. Friendly staff, good service. Hotel came with free continental breakfast which supplied an array of choices. Room clean with tea and coffee facilities. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Small room noisy on a night toilets not clean

The hotel was nice and convenient the shops and cafe and bars

Overall happy with hotel, staff were great specially the 2 staff who presented my sister and I a cheesecake with candles as it was our birthday and this was a nice surprise so thank you

Brilliant little place. Had a really comfortable night. . Staff are great. Will definitely be making this my regular place when staying in southport.

Great property supported by great staff, parking close

Bedroom had wallpaper hanging off, gap between the skirting board and carpet so you could see the rafters underneath. Awkward bathroom with sloping ceiling hindering climbing in/out of bath/shower. Difficult to wash in the sink as the shower glass is very close behind, you need to really use the sink sideways- we are not large people! Toaster still doesn’t work properly! Paper thin walls (on 2nd floor). 2nd night a regular noise was heard through out the night, we put it down to a water pump, annoying. Not the best stay.

Close to town centre nice bar outside area

Great communal areas, bar and outdoor seating. We opted for the continental breakfast which was lovely, plenty to choose from. Bedroom could do with a bit of maintenance as curtains falling off the tracks and the tap on the sink was loose. However great value for money hotel and would stay again.

Room was fine, everything I needed and very clean. But the room was very hot, though there was a fan, the curtains didn’t fit the window properly so I was awake very early. Also bathroom door sticks on the tiles. Was ok for one night.

Lovely Hotel in a perfect spot, staff were very friendly and we had an enormous cooked breakfast, what more can i say !!!

Rather poor- slow check in. Basin tap very loose. Shower doors didn’t function correctly, toilet seat not straight, window latch broken & a glass from the bathroom had toothpaste on it. All easily fixable problems. Toaster only toasted one side, we were told they were waiting for the part- we had stayed a month ago and were told exactly the same. No one at checkout to raise the concerns.

No parking at the hotel

Good for a quick break away. Quirky castle room , water nice and powerful. Easy walk into town, but Southport isn't like it used to be.

Extremely warm and friendly hotel. The price was very reasonable, good breakfast and very clean throughout. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning to this little gem in the future.
