A very quaint and quirky house with a comfortable room, and an excellent breakfast. The owners are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

We were immediately greeted at the door as if we were old friends rather than just another sale to the owner. The service and attention to detail were absolutely outstanding. I don’t normally ever bother to leave reviews on places I stay but the quality of accommodation and the owner was so outstanding that I felt it deserved special recognition. Nothing was too much trouble for the host who really did make the stay so special. It’s hard to put into words how fantastic the stay was. Adrian really went the extra mile and his years of experience in this sector was evident and really appreciated. So chatty, friendly and knowledgeable. We were unbelievably cheeky asking if we could get a takeaway and borrow forks to eat it with. Not only was he able to talk about where to go but when we settled on a Chinese and we returned to the property we found that he had set up the dining room, warmed a couple of plates and got the soy sauce out. Probably shouldn’t say that as it was very cheeky of us and I’d hate for this to become the norm for them, but that is just a perfect example of what a great guy he is. We visited with our little dog who was also made to feel welcome. If we are in that region again I wouldn’t even think of considering any other place to stay. Huge thanks from us two (and the dog) for being so fantastic.
