If you are looking for an authentic experience this is the place to stay. Beautiful property, full of history. Room was superb and bed absolutely amazing. Wonderful bath with soft hot water. Excellent breakfast as ordered. Great Host. Would definitely stay again. If you dont mind exploring and checking yourself in/out without a receptionist this place is a must visit.

Great host but very difficult to find - entrance is unlit. Rooms are named but no names on doors. Bed is very high but comfortable. Jacuzzi bath was good but on inspection there was bad mould and or staining around taps and jets. Be aware the local pub is closed on Mondays. Breakfast was good and bacon was excellent.

Another excellent stay at Harlington Manor.

The historical quirkiness and character of the Manor made for a very interesting experience. An excellent English breakfast and friendly hospitality would make us book another stay when in the area.

A lovely old Manor House full of good old-fashioned English quirkiness. David was an ever present attentive host. A very good breakfast was served by him after a good night’s rest in a large 4-poster bed

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Harlingen Manor. The location was stunning. David was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend staying there.

We had an amazing stay. The lace is old and quirky and very beautiful. David the host is brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. He makes the stay very interesting and enjoyable. The food is top quality. Made fresh every morning. The grounds are beautiful. We sat in the sun reading a book. The whole area is lovely as are the people., Harlington Manor is old and everything is doo very interesting.

This is a very old building, with steps and low door heights in some parts of the building. Great greeting from the owner. My room which was called the Tudor Room, had a large ensuite, which had another door into the hallway (which I did not know at time, and during the night someone used the bathroom, when I was in bed). The room had a portable heater which I used at night. Milk for drinks in room is in a little fridge in hallway - would have been nice to be told this. Late in the evening, someone (another guest perhaps) did try and come into my room. The door did not have a key for the lock, but did have a hook, so I could secure the door. The wifi was good and there was no TV in my room. Free parking out in courtyard. Bed was comfortable, but high up, so much so there was a step stool to use to get into bed. I did not get to have breakfast as I had to leave just after 7am.

Amazing country manor with eclectic mix of decor.Rooms were very unique and of period .All needs catered for and David a super host who did everything he could to make our stay the best . From the first minute we walked in we were taken back in time .Funky sloping floors and beamed rooms .Coffee and Tea facilities in room .Our bathroom was not ensuite but down a corridor.Bit spooky at 3am but no Issues.Fresh milk for morning cuppa not long life pods,nice touch. Piano room and library interesting and decorated in beautiful antique furniture that again made me feel I was a “Lady of the manor”. Breakfast perfect and any combination was freely accommodated. What can I say about David ,”a gentleman and a scholar “. The prefect host . Just to shout out for “The Carpenter’s Arms” fab and few yards up the road .Great food and hospitality.We are there 2nights on the trot and they even had some live music which was a bonus .
