ヘンスレイ ハウス

It tells you something that I was waiting in anticipation for the Hotels.com email just so I could get online and give Hensleigh House the five star rating it absolutely deserves. From the moment we were greeted at the door until the time we waved goodbye, our stay was first class. The building itself is beautiful with plentiful carparking out front which made access easy if needed. Inside, the bedrooms and ensuites were immaculate. Comfortable beds, windows you can actually open to let in fresh air, and decor some of the country's top hotels would do well to take tips from. Attention to detail was such that even the box of tissues on the bedside table carried the bird motif theme of the bedroom wallpaper. Downstairs, the shared lounge invites you in with its twinkling red lights and sofa you can sink into, and the bright breakfast room with it's big windows was a joy to come down to in the morning, if the smell of breakfast being cooked up wasn't enough on its own 🙂 Everything at Hensleigh House has the personal touch and the hosts were welcoming and friendly and made you feel that they were genuinely happy to have you there. I honestly cannot fault it and we will absolutely be going back again. In fact - I'm quite loathe to write such a glowing review in case it gets booked out!!

A very comfortable hotel within easy reach of the beach. Extremely friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Lovely rooms. Lots of parking available. A real gem

部屋は清潔で、２階のツインはバスタブもあり、お湯もしっかり出て、とても快適でした。ホテルの建物自体は比較的コンパクトですが、おそらく部屋の配置が、洗面と居室をサンドイッチに配置しているのでしょう、隣室の物音は全く聞こえませんでした。部屋も広さはくつろぐのに十分でした。 朝食はメニューの内容もオーダーでき、注文してから作ってくれる温かいもので、とても美味しいです！ チャーマスビーチに徒歩５分と近く、通りのコンビニにも徒歩５分で、とても便利でした。 オーナーやスタッフは常にレセプションカウンターにいるわけではありませんが、朝食の際に、オーナーに用事があることを朝食スタッフに告げると、すぐさま来てくれ、不便はしませんでした。 テレビの操作法など、質問が多く出そうなことや、近隣のインフォメーションなどは、とても細かい説明が、部屋のホテルガイドやテーブルの上にファイルしてあり、困ることはありませんでした。 周辺にディナーが取れる店が少なく、フィッシュ&チップス屋は常に長蛇の列で、その近くのパン屋さんではオーダーしてからピザを焼いてくれるので、そこでピザを買って、コンビニでサラダを買って、食べたりしました。子供の要望でうちは部屋で食べましたが、おそらくホテルの庭のテーブルで食べることも出来るでしょう。車があるなら、ライムリージスが近いので問題ありません。 チャーマスビーチをメインに滞在するなら、閑静でとてもオススメの宿です！
