Lovely stay

Once we found the correct version of the two Holiday Inns situated very close to each other, the check-in was smooth and trouble-free. After sleeping well, we both woke up feeling achy, though it seems to be going as we move around. Breakfast was very good. There was a huge choice to the help yourself buffet. It was all good quality and cooked well where appropriate.

This hotel is excellently situated for access to major roads. The breakfast and dining options are good. The adjacent gym and pool are good.

Very good hotel ,friendly & helpful staff , the room was clean & good size . Meals are good value & excellent choice for breakfast . It has good amenities with the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room etc that you can access as part of your stay.We would highly recommended

Facilities great. Restaurant limited and dishes served not as described. Burger burnt and no cheese. No croutons with Caesar salad. Mains brought out before starters finished.

Tv in the room is way too old! Should be smart! Floor is dusty! Clearly the cleaners didn’t even hoover! Key cards keeps getting reset couldn’t enter our room 3x! Really inconvenient for us cause it’s a long walk to the reception to my room!

it was a lovely stay enjoyed it, abit slow getting our food after being ordered, forgot our drinks, ie table table order apart from that all ok stayed there before would recomend

Found pillow lumpy. Bed a bit too soft for me. Like the communal areas very much.

The staff were excellent. In particular the cleaning staff. They were very accommodating towards my dad’s needs.

The staff are working hard and nice enough but they are working at a much higher standard than the hotel itself. The communal areas are nice enough (although quite a bit of grubby upholstery around and the foam on the chairs feels like you're sat on a brick). There are some nice touches for the kids, like a play area in the main lobby and tokens given to kids on arrival for them to exchange for a variety of things. Also, another nice touch is the kids crockery available at breakfast and kids eat free for the restaurant. The food in the restaurant isn't bad, it's an easy, pretty consistent option. The bit that lets this place down is the rooms themselves, threadbare carpets, mould in the showers and a sofa bed that will make you question your life choices at 3am as you try and get comfortable for the 1000th time that night. We were just stopping for a few nights and it was ok for that purpose, if the rooms were better, we may even consider it a good base to explore the area as all the other aspects were decent enough. I feel for the manager and the staff a bit, who were very helpful and are being let down by a lack of investment in the rooms

Quiet and clean accommodation. Staff very polite, pleasant and informative.

Friendly staff and my son got a token that he used to get a hot chocolate before bed. He liked the panda box that he put the token in. Room was very comfortable. A few toiletries in bathroom would have been handy. No air con working in our room but we were advised of this on arrival and offered alternative on ground floor if we preferred. Nice reception and dining area. We enjoyed the pastries at breakfast.
