Lovely spacious clean room, comfy bed in a perfect location.

Excellent balcony room (10), very clean and well equipped, could do with more water pressure in the en-suite shower. Very friendly and helpful staff, Outstanding breakfast with perfect attention to detail. Parking is available behind the local Premier Inn, (Permit from reception) Highly recommend this hotel if your travelling to Torquay.

Felt more like a B&B but welcoming. Only 1 key which meant we had to reorganise our time. Clean and comfortable no hot water in the sink but kettle and shower hot.

This hotel is located very close to central Torquay, just a couple of minutes walk. The approach to the entrance is up some quite steep steps, with palm trees. The proprietor met us and gave us keys to our room and both outer doors if we needed to be out late. He took our bag up to our room, which was very kind. We had a room at the front of the hotel, so we could see the sea over the buildings opposite which was good. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and traditionally decorated with fantastic curtains! Again when we checked out, the proprietor helped with our luggage. It is a quiet hotel, although on a busy road, and good value for money too.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Lovely owners nothing was to much trouble amazing breakfast especially the poached eggs. Room was amazing we will definitely be back soon

Convenient and pleasant staff

great stay. welcomed by the owner with a big smile and a laugh. hotel clean and best bed i have ever slept in , in a hotel.free bottles of water and biscuits every day. the only draw back was stairs but honestly get past that and youll be more than happy.paid 61 pound a night in centre of Torquay in summer. cant beat that price unless you pay for it in type of hotel you get but this is 5star for the price. keep up rhe great work👍

Check in was smooth. The chap on reception was so incredibly helpful and his service provided was outstanding. Room nice , bathroom really new, nice and cool given the weather.

It is well located and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. You're basically in the town centre and buses go to many nice places around the area.

Good location, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Also a very low price for June so we were really surprised. The staff were very friendly and efficent.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay here for a sailing competition. Easy walk to the Yacht club. Very friendly hotel owner and family, decent sized room. Breakfast was also excellent with great and prompt service. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as lovely as the first time We recommended it to our friends who booked there to stay too Very welcoming host and the hotel is so clean and the rooms kept in an excellent condition I will be booking again for next year

Average hotel. We had to ask for towels as the room did not have any. The hot water in the shower only lasted a couple of minutes so my partner was not able to have a shower. The host was nice but it was like staying in Faulty Towers where an older Manuel now owned the hotel.

Ideal for my needs.

Our free upgrade to a beautiful king size room with balcony was just what we were looking for in our short Torquay stay. The whole hotel was clean, our bathroom was spotless, the balcony had wonderful views of surrounding villas, green areas and of course the sunny view down to the water! Ganesh couldn’t have been more welcoming upon arrival and he provided us with all the information we needed. We had a super comfortable night on the mattress and the room had stunning high ceilings yet felt warm! We highly recommend The Hudson and cannot wait for our next visit back to this lovely Torquay accommodation.

Great family owned Hotel. Really good room with a balcony,very light and airy,the balcony wea a plus in the hot weather! Room was well equipped fans are available on request, very comfortable bed and very clean! The free car park was a bonus,parking behind the hotel can be a little tight if you have a big car but you get a pass for the council cor park a little up the hill that was also good to park! The breakfast was very good and set you up for the day! The owners were welcoming, nothing was too much trouble a really nice couple! The location was great only a 5 minute walk to the inner harbour and every kind of restraint you could want right on your doorstep!Would definitely recommend!
