Excellent stay. Rooms modern with a nice decor and good facilities. Great cooked breakfast for £10. Great location for the centre of York.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good with plenty of options.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the bar served good quality drinks. The hotel is conveniently located, and we explored York on foot for 2.5 days.

We would absolutely stay here again! The hotel was amazing, from the decor to the staff. The welcoming scent and cleanliness of the hotel were immediately noticeable. Our room decor was lovely, and we were particularly impressed with the spacious bathroom. We arrived early, so the staff kept our belongings until our room was ready. When we returned much later, our room was ready, and our bags had already been delivered. The town and city walls are just a short walk away. We booked a table at The Tomahawk Steak House while sitting on our bed in the hotel. The time for our table was in five minutes, so we briskly walked there and were in the restaurant within ten minutes, it’s that close to everything. The bed was comfortable, and the rainfall shower head in the bathroom was a nice touch. There was even a 24-hour pizza menu in the room. The only two things we noticed were; the noise outside on Saturday night. There was shouting and a few loud vehicles, but it wasn’t directly in the centre of town, so we assumed it was an isolated incident. And, there wasn’t a breakfast menu online or in the room. The downstairs continental breakfast looked really nice, but we couldn’t find any details from our room, so we skipped it and went into town for breakfast instead. We would highly recommend this hotel for your York city stay!

For a modern property it had character.

A very comfortable hotel. We only stayed one night but will definitely stay at Indigo hotel next time we visit York. Great location.

The safe in our room wasn’t on a level surface so the door remained in a fully open position, with the possibility of banging into it. we raised it up with 3 or 4 teabags so it would just pop closed.

Excellent stay , only for one night but could of stayed there for a week , room was so big and very clean , staff were very friendly and always smiling only a short walk from town centre

Lovely hotel, a fair walk from the station but in a nice area with independent shops and restaurants

Smart pleasant hotel off York city centre. It took us too long to figure out how to get the room temperature right, but otherwise a perfect stay.

Comfortable hotel, nicely decorated. Bar area was welcoming. In a good location, just a short walk to the busy streets. Very friendly staff.

Lovely boutique hotel, Welcomed upon check-in by staff and guided to the car park. The room was clean and spacious for us. Good amenities had a range of coffee and teas, water and welcome snacks, Bed was comfy and we slept well after our walking around. We had breakfast which i would recommend as there is a large selection to choose from for both continental buffet and hot breakfast cooked to order again a range of drinks included and all staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is a short 5 minute walk from the shambles and has restaurants close hard to choose from. Would definitely recommend staying here.
