Room was cancelled 2 days before my stay for health and safety reasons I was notified by email but then later notified reminding me of stay not very happy overall but at least I’m getting a refund

The bed was quite hard. We had to leave after the first night due to a family emergency. Is there any way we could get a partial refund?

Unclean bed and bathroom, sticky doors that would either not close or not open once closed, radiator hanging off wall. No refundable booking option available and then when asked for a refund due to unacceptable conditions and moving hotels they have then refused

Relaxed area as it is right by the university though the room itself is quite dirty. Dusty walls, splatters of drinks behind the nightstand, TV not working, dirty towel left inside the closet, and mildew growing in the shower room.

Stood outside the hotel for some time trying to check in before anyone came to the door. The room smelled like stale fags and the bathroom smelled like urine. The room was dirty, and the bathroom was also dirty. The listing advertises hairdryer but no hairdryer was available when requested (that isn’t to say they don’t have any, but the response when asked was that the receptionist didn’t start until after check out- which is obviously of no use). The door key did not work first thing in the morning so I stood outside again waiting for someone to (eventually) let me in. The location was great for getting to the city centre, but we would not stay again.

Few shops, McDonald's and pizza place near by but apart not much around the area. The hotel is badly run down with broken shower doors, carpet was damp and they charge you for late in check in, which is shocking for the state the hotel is in.

Good clean hotel close to Salford Crescent

Value for money budget accommodation. The young gentleman on the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. He explained everything well and provided the WiFi password and taxi telephone numbers and helped quickly to get me parked onsite. The road noise was bad with the window opened a small amount

Iv been to some strange and unclean places before but this one takes the biscuit! The beds were absolutely vile our mattress had so many stains and even a cig burn in the walls were dirty as hell, showers were rank and all the tiles had holes in, the rooms were more like cupboards then rooms. There was nowhere to dine and even the vending machine was broken. Our door didnt even lock because the lock didnt fit into the lock slot in the door frame which made me and my friend feel very unsafe uneasy. We didnt stay we just left you can keep the money we just didnt want to stay. Worst place iv ever been in my life!

It met the needs. First room was smelly but reception changed it straight away for me. Helped me with my suitcases up. Couldn't find help in the morning when I was coming down. No lift.

Got own room with my mate for a very small extra fee

It was great apart from my girlfriend sleepwalking and locking herself out of the room! 😂

Stayed here as we were running the Manchester Marathon. Was perfect for what we required.

Property with no direct tram connection only a northern line train. The mattresses on the beds were incredibly hard and I have no idea why these were selected. Television didn’t work and the soap dispenser holder was broken. No breakfast on premises but McDonald’s nearby.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

The Imperial isn't a 5 star hotel, but its clean, the staff are friendly, its in a great location, and provides you a great base to go and see/do whatever it is you're doing in Salford or Manchester. With the train station across the road you can get into the city centre, or further out into Greater Manchester. McDonalds for breakfast. Free parking too!

Room dirty. Bed dirty. Radiator dirty and broken. Blind dirty and broken. Bed springs in back and woke up sore and itching. Carpets dirty. Window lock broken. Litter and tampax on verge outside window. Bathroom dirty. Sink blocked. Reption door broken and not locked with no staff manning the door over night
