Breakfast was great just remember to book a time on the app

The property is beautiful - all the amenities and great playgrounds for the kids. Sign posting is terrible and staff responses are lacklustre at best.

The Woodland Village lodges are a great place for families to stay . The breakfast and food in the Clubhpuse was poor .

This was our 3rd stay at LEGOLAND but the first in the castle. Don’t feel the premium element is reflective of the high price tag. We had issues with the room electrics that staff did not sort even when we asked.

Family friendly

We stayed a night before a theme park visit the following morning - the hotel was easy to find, great parking and very clean. The only couple of things I would note - 1 - weirdly the outside of the lodge was really over grown and full of weeds! They have such an opportunity (and budget I imagine!) to properly landscape each outside space but unfortunately it looked really scruffy and not welcoming at all (loads of thistles too which would have been tricky if the kids had fallen into them) 2 - a distinct lack of mirrors! In the room there was one mirror in the bathroom but none in the main area so when using the hotel hairdryer I couldn't actually plug it in and it be long enough to see what I was doing. Another mirror in the main bedroom would have been helpful. Overall though the hotel was lovely, the kids loved the interactivity of getting the code to open the 'safe' and receiving a lego kit, too! The breakfast was adequate - we didn't book in advance enough for a table at a good time but we weren't in a rush to get in the park quite so early so that wasn't a problem for us. I assume on really busy days it would be recommended to book that early!

The rooms were not great. The bathroom wasn’t fully clean.

We had a fantastic time away at the castle hotel! Would highly recommend it to anyone! The castle is done up amazingly and the rooms are brilliant, very clean and well presented. Will definitely come again.

Couldn’t check in early because I didn’t receive the text message , I only had the itinerary / booking number and it wasn’t being aacceoted for self check in - it was unfortunate, my daughter wasn’t feeling well but gladly waited with me for an hour until we can be checked in. It’s better to book directly with the official website as it speeds up the check in process - witnessed a good number of people able to access their rooms early because of this. We got directions to our lodge, which was great. The shower was clean but when we closed the bathroom door, there were hairs and the floor was wet behind it . In the end, the bed was comfy and we just needed a clean enough space to rest and stay for the night,

Overpriced for what it was!! nearly £400 for one night!!

What a lovely clean lodge, and my grandson was kept occupied with the man play areas and Lego stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be returning 💖

Breakfast was not great.

Breakfast table service was a nice surprise but would have been improved by less fried food.

We were very grateful for the upgrade to premium room and loved the treasure hunt provided in the room The pool was very nice

The staff were so attentive and kind. My kids loved the treasure hunt laid out in the room upon arrival. Lego man visiting our table made their day. The playroom and sensory room are fantastic. We’d go back again for sure.

What is this hotel like if you're not part of the target market? Off-season and mid-week the prices are good, so even without kids we decided to stay. Short version: It's pretty odd, but it works well for the price, and the breakfast is very good. First, it's all set up to be very busy, with online check-in and no human interaction. It's strange to be there when it's quiet, but hard for the systems to adapt. For example though mostly empty, trying to arrange for a check-in before 4pm (when the automated system is programmed to first release your keys) was impossible: The number in the booking email was never answered, and the response to an email request was direction to use a different phone number (with different music) that also was never answered. Showing up early caused a bit of confusion - there is no registration desk, it's computer only. But the 'concierge' staff were lovely, and after consultation with an unseen manager, we were told we could check in early, though for a fee nearly equal to one nights' stay. Not a lot of choice at that point so we agreed, and they kindly looked after luggage until the room was ready. And in the end there was no fee charged. The Kingdom room was good (and would have been great if we'd brought two kids, and ok even with three). We didn't get into the pool, hours are very limited. But the breakfast was far above average for a production breakfast buffet, a good variety. Strange to book for an empty bfast room. But recommended!

A brilliant weekend, will definitely visit again.
