I can’t say enough good about the location of this hotel. It is literally along the harbor walkway with a view of the little bay And it is very cute and quaint outside. Other than that, it could use a lot of help. We rented the little apartment in the Inn that had one bedroom and a sitting area with a pullout couch and then upstairs had a little living room and kitchen. We were a party of three adult sisters, and there was a queen bed and a pullout bed. The pullout bed was so bad that she found it much more comfortable to sleep on the couch upstairs. It is a very old house, so just be warned that the stairs are very steep, and the floors are not all perfectly horizontal. The kitchen was partially furnished, but no forks and no butter knives at all. The shower was fine, but you had to flush the toilet at least three times to get it to actually flush. We had driven and there is no parking so you need to pay for a parking at somebody’s house/driveway that they are willing to rent. We did this online separately from the. Hotel When we arrived the hostess at their Restaurant was the one that gave me the key. No papers whatsoever and when we checked out, I had no way of finding anybody because the restaurant was closed and the doors were locked. Unfortunately it is not well run. But we did feel lucky to stay in the location. It’s a very cute little town.

A lovely few days in St Ives. Helpful friendly staff perfect location on the harbour breakfast was excellent and even won a few few lines at the lifeboat inn bingo night. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Very clean room. Very helpful staff. Noise from restaurant did not bother us. Steep stairs but staff helped with bags.

Room was immaculate and the view was stunning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Couldn't fault the place.

Lovely little cozy apartment that was perfect for our three night stay. Linens were crisp and duvets were fluffy. The staff were all delightful and we loved the sea views. 10/10

Spotless room, good breakfast and amazing location!

The room was good but difficult to navigate up the stairs. However staff all very friendly and our dog was made very welcome which is why we chose to stay at the Lifeboat Inn again. We stayed with our dog two years ago. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Cozy and lovely apartment. Great sea view. No parking but easy to find long stay parking with few minutes walk. Many restaurants nearby.

Great view of the harbour from the room. Nice big bath and a great strong, hot shower. Nice quality toiletries in the room. Decent food. St Ives was bustling which was nice for a January stay.

We had a great stay at the Lifeboat Inn. The room had an amazing view over the harbour. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were very welcoming and friendly

Positiv: big room and bathroom, great location Negativ: very tilted room, so much that vi had to sleeep the wrong way on the bed. Very much noise from the ally(were the window was). Very warm and stuffy - maybe becase of the little fridge in the room. Very steep stairs to the room. No view from room. This is not a hotell, no service at all, no reception and no follow up from staff. The breakfast was ok, don’t order det very dry pancakes.

Up the side alley and very steep stairs to top floor. Room nice with seperate shower room which we really liked. Shower pressure good. No view, but we knew this and its a lower price to other rooms on same sight. Central location with everything we needed. We will be booking again.
