Breakfast is very good!! The stuff are very good and kind. Comfortable place!!

Melanie and Nick were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Off-road parking on site is very convenient and a car charger available if needed. Easy walk into Lynton and short drive to Valley of the rocks. We would stay there again.

It was all good but there were two things not so good we were put on the top floor with a narrow staircase approaching 80 for us not good, also our bedroom window rattled which kept us awake the first night before we wedged paper between the windows!

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful village. Comfortable beds, great showers, wonderful breakfast and attentive hosts. All on top of one of the most charming villages in England. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay. Nick greeted us on arrival. Everything that we needed was in our room and Nick was on hand to give recommendations for the area. The stunning Valley of Rocks was pretty much on the doorstep and the shops and restaurants were stone throw away. The cooked breakfast was lovely and it was a nice touch that we had a card and chocolates on our table as it was Easter Sunday.

Had a very comfortable 2 night stay. Nick and Melanie made us feel welcome - and the cake that was left in the room for us was yummy! Great choice of food for breakfast, which was prepared to an order which was placed the previous evening.

A wonderful B&B with great hosts. Located within easy walking distance of restaurants, pubs, and shopping. Take water powered tram to equally pretty village of Lynmouth. Highway recommend Longmead.

Amazing hosts and a really good bed and breakfast highly recommended

A fantastic B&B in a great location. The welcome on arrival was warm and thorough, a good selection of tea and biscuits in the room with a complimentary slice of cake. The room was well thought out and attention is paid to detail. A well stocked bar. The breakfast was fantastic, can't stress this enough, cooked breakfast and an excellent granola each morning. And the local knowledge and recommendations for the area were perfect. Nick and Mel, we can't fault and will highly recommend! Thank you

Enjoyable 6 nights stay in Longmead House B&B. Owners Melanie and Nick were welcoming, knowledgable and very helpful in unexpected ways like, on hearing I'd dropped my mobile phone on the street on my way there, they checked their local Facebook news page where there was a photo of a mobile found and a notice saying it had been handed to Lynton's Town Hall for self care. Much appreciated.

We had a very pleasant stay. Friendly - welcoming - very clean. Breakfasts were fab. Salt shaker needed rice in it to dry out the crystals - that was really the only thing we could pick at, so I would say - thoroughly recommended.

Adequate but expensive for what it was

My wife and I spent last week visiting beautiful North Devon. Our stay was made particularly special by the excellent accommodation at Longmead. Melanie and Nick could not have done anymore to make us feel comfortable - the small touches like home-made jams and bread at breakfast and fresh milk for tea and coffee in the rooms were especially appreciated. Longmead is only 5 minutes walk from Lynton town centre in one direction and Valley of Rocks in the other. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit. .

We are happy to recommend Longmead House. Clean and in good decorative order throughout. A tasty range of breakfast options. Very convenient for Lynton centre and has off street parking with no inclines.

Excellent food, lovely clean accommodation and ideal location.

I upgraded to a superior room £190 for two nights.. On arrival we were shown to our room which was A tiny room with just enough room to walk around the outside of the bed with a sink in the bedroom🤔The ensuite was if you sat on the toilet you would fall in the bath. I did question this with the owners and they said it was a king size bed, but all we were getting was a king size bed and a double bedroom. We were also asked if we could pack up all the dirty towels and strip Our beds
