Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Slight mix up with room but soon sorted. Lovely food in restaurant!

Great hotel for our short stay. Well maintained, good vibe

Lovely welcome from the staff and a great size room, bathroom looked amazing, however the shower temperature was either scorchingly hot or freezing cold, no happy medium. Also the bed was uncomfortable - the mattress was so soft you felt like you were sinking in to it.

We stayed in the Bertie suite and it was just amazing!! Loved the design, the colors and style and also loved that the LIVER building was right in view with the river Mersey right there. The breakfast was inclusive and was yummy and they even let me take a tray up to my family who were still in bed. just a perfect stay! ticked every box for us.10/10

The room was small and dark. There was nowhere to put on makeup because the bedroom was so dark and it was difficult leaning over the sink in the bathroom. My breakfast was just ok too; I had the French toast which was cold when it arrived.

Lovely bar/restaurant area and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was ok, but felt a little tired compared to the rest of the hotel. I’d paid extra for a club room to get a view, but the view was mostly of a multi-storey car park which was a bit of a shame! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Simply Outstanding. Every member of staff we met gave us a smile and a friendly greeting. Our room was spotless as always at Malmaison. We had a two coarse dinner consisting of a beautifully cooked sea bass with potatoes and veg and my partner had a very tender rump steak cooked to perfection served with chips and veg….Malmaison breakfast is also magnificent! A wide choice of cereals and fresh juices followed by our choice of a full English will all the finest ingredients including the most beautiful mushroom accompanied by as much toast as you like….if you’re staying in this great city then Malmaison should be your first choice 👌

Couldn't fault the staff atmosphere room or decor. Only criticism was the bar/lounge area was far too busy with no seats avaliable. If you're going to have functions on you need provide more seating for hotel guests
