When we arrived in High Wycombe, we passed a lovely house with beautiful wisteria blooming all along the sidewalk. We parked, then walked to a pub at the end of the street. After a fun meal in the open air, we left the pub searching for the Malvern House. We were delighted to discover that the wisteria house was indeed our destination.
The gentleman who greeted us was very kind and welcoming. Our ground floor room was just right. We stayed two nights, and revised the pub down the street. All told, we truly enjoyed our stay and would stay at the Malvern House if we ever find ourselves near High Wycombe again.
From the word go this place was amazing from both outside and in. A big shout out to the lovely gentlemen who checked me in after a kind hearted stranger helped me with my baggage due to extreme pain and mobility issues. Check in was speedy, efficient and I was very happy with the hospitality during check in. The room was comfortable, warm and inviting. Easy to get to via the local bus. Very highly recommended. 😊
The property could do with a little modernisation, however, we went for it because of cost, and convenience.
We couldn't check in till we arrived which was half past midnight and the staff were very understanding and checked us in cheerfully!!! I was rather embarrassed that we were so late, but she was so nice.
We were very tired, but, you can't sleep in a bad bed even when tired - So, the beds were great and we slept like a log!!!! The bed was clean, comfy and no issues at all sleeping.
Nice bathroom, no hairdryer but one supplied when asked. Need more coffee and milk and there was no tea, but tbh they would have given us more had we asked.
I would certainly sleep there again!
